Yugi is known every where as the top duelist in the world. Ever since he defeated Kaiba, Yugi has been placed in duel after duel.
After he solved the Mellium puzzle Yugi begain to feel another force inside of him guide him threw the most dangerous duels. He learns that his puzzle has the spirit of a Pharaoh (Yami) locked inside.
When yugi learns about Yami he trys to keep him locked away but he soon relizes that he can trust Yami not only when dueling but also when his life and the lives of others are on he line.
There always seems to be someone who is trying to destroy the world, but with the help of Yami, Yugi has never been defeated.
Yugi is a firm believer in 'the heart of the cards'. He feels that if you trust your deck there is no battle you can not win.
