I've been writing ever since I can remember. When I was just a small child, I used to write stories about the children in my neighborhood. And when I began the eighth grade, my English teacher had a plan that his students would write throughout the year. At that time, I wrote several items of poetry, along with several short stories.

I also have three novels which I am periodically working on. But for about three years, I had a terrible case of writer's block, and was unable to commit myself to any of my writing. Partly out of fear of adding some worthless and unimaginative writing to the novels I had already begun, and partly out of, what felt to me, like boredom.

But in January of 2000, I became pregnant with my daughter, Angel, and I suddenly had a reason to return to my writing.

In this webpage, I have included two of the poems which I wrote for Angel when I was pregnant with her. I've also included other poetry and song lyrics which I have written, and eventually, I intend to include some of my stories as well. Just click on the links below to read each item.
