"Banlist Explaination"

Originally this arcticle was MUCH Longer. But the file wouldn't save, so now I'm just summing up the reasons. And everything else for that matter.

I often hear people wondering why come cards are banned, why some are limited instead of Semi-Limited like they think it should. Why some cards aren't on the banlist at all. This arcticle will be constantly updated to explain every card on the current CCG Banlist. This update will only cover the Banned Cards. Next update will get the Limited Cards. Then Semi Limited, then after that it will get the cards that Seem they need to be limited in SOME way.


BANNED CARDS:

Card: All cards from END
Reason: 1. Most of the set is way overpowered. 2. I said so.

Card: Berserker Soul
Reason: Easily allowed too much damage. Not to mention combos such as Don Zaloong with this card make it outrageous.

Card: Birth of the Black Hole
Reason: The user of this card could simply play 2 field spells in a row and it would work. Not to mention all the Exchange of the Spirit like combos. Too Great effect, too little cost.

Card: Card of Demise
Reason: 5 free draws. Becuase its easy to use up your entire hand in 5 turns. It's a +4 and if you're running dark world then it's also serious flood material.

Card: Kung Fu Nyan-Nyan
Reason: Starts with 1700ATK, gains 300 every turn. The effect isn't THAT bad, but it is abit too much. May be limited soon.

Card: Little Red Riding Hood
Reason: There are 3000 total monsters in this game, including OCG and CCG monsters, this card can summon about 2000 of them. Witch of the Black Forest was the same way. This card is actually more like Sangan and Witch of the Black Forest combined almost.

Card: Loge's Flame
Reason: Stalls too easy and for too long. Summons a decently good monster when destroyed. A downgraded version has been released name Golden Dragon gate.


Card: Mirage Spell
Reason: Saves a monster with no cost and gives you 2000 free life points. Currently the highest LP number gain from a regular card without a cost of some kind is 1000 with Dian Keto.


Card: Mischief of the Time Goddess
Reason: Skips opponent's turn. Allowing you to draw again, activate cards you set before the turn you activate Mischief, attack again, etc.

Card: Nibelung's Treasure
Reason: 5 free draws. Forces your oppenent to use one of your Spells. Comboing this with Mystical space typhoon is nice, however a combo with the current TCG Version of Card of Sanctity is outright horrific.

Card: Omega
Reason: END Card.

Card: Pulse of the Leviathan
Reason: Destroys 4 cards just becuase you have a Sea Serpent out. Comboing with DNA Surgery is nice, but not to mention that the best Sea Serpent is Sunset Leviathan Gunner and would be decked at x3 per deck.

Card: Princess of the New Beginning
Reason: It's a fiber jar with an effect that is slightly weaker and harder to use. But not enough so that it can get away with being limited.

Card: R.P.G. Golem
Reason: Destroy 1 card in Opponent's hand or 1 S/T on the field per turn. MST is Limited for a reason. This thing is just horrific.

Card: Rainbow Bridge Bifrost
Reason: Grants far too much ATK bonus for virtually no cost. Comboing with Soul Release is nice, but several other combos make it nightmarish.

Card: Ragnarus - The Last Warrior
Reason: Originally banned due to having 2000atk and def but being level 4 and also becuase it was a DIVINE attribute. Now banned due to the fact that it's the easiest DIVINE Attribute monster to use, and thus makes the cards that require DIVINE Attribute much easier to use. May be Limited soon.

Card: Roll of Fate
Reason: Easy draws, things out deck too well. It's like an upgraded Sixth Sense. You roll a 5, thats 5 to your hand and 5 off the top for a total of -10 from your deck making it easy to get your key card.


Card: Royal Flush
Reason: Too easy to use. Gives an AUTO WIN.


Card: Summoning Clock
Reason: No real cost, easily gets out 3 to 5 monsters. Example:
You activate and wait till it would summon atleast 3 monsters, you attack an opponent's monster with a Horus LV6. If they flip their trap to stop the attack/destroy horus, you get to activate Summoning Clock's effect, tribute Horus, and get 3 new monsters. Making their attempt to negate your attack pointless.


Card: Snowfall Sword
Reason: Too easy to use. Negates the effects of all other spells and traps out. The only things that could destroy it easily other than your side-decked Mobius the Frost Monarch are already being negated by it.

Card: The Golden Castle of Stromberg
Reason: Negates attacks and makes them into one-sided Rings of Destruction. Allows user to summon a LV4 monster every turn easily. Destroys half of opponent's deck every turn. Easy to destroy, but the effect is too great to allow.

Card: The Truth of Yin and Yang
Reason: There is a combo that allows this monster to be summoned. And when you summon it with this combo you've pretty much won. That combo is Skill Drain+Some Special Summoning Method+The Truth of Yin and Yang. Add in Heavy Storm to ensure you've won.


Card: Ties of Brethen
Reason: 2 Free special summons of 2 LV4 monsters from your deck. Need I say more?

Card: Valkyrie Erste
Reason: Read reason why Rainbow Bridge Bifrost is banned.
