These is a compilement of what work went on between HeartCard and Raki-Sempai. The two entities are working together to work on this story and other components in it.
"Collaberation with HeartCard"
Why Raki-Sempai decided to use...I mean work with HeartCard for the Somi story: I suppose one of the most major things I wanted about Somi was to be Religious based ( and heavily so). At the same time, I did NOT want her Religion to be Christian or Jewish nor did I want it to be a complete opposite. I wanted a "One God" theme for her religion, something very similiar to christianity, but at the same time very different. Obviously, the first thing that had to go: Jesus Christ. I've got nothing against him, I just don't imagine the Yugioh monster world has "Jesus Christ - Envoy of the Heavens" or something along those lines. Unfortunately for me, I attempted to think up the religion for me. The problem: I don't have a religion of my own in the first place *Laugh*. So I started to this that Somi's story was going to outright be a flop. Luckily I remembered something, I know a certain asshole Texan friend who just happens to be a christian. True I could have picked someone else, but three things made me pick this guy/kid: -1. I know him personally, and have met him in real life, so it'll make working with him easier. -2. He's male and I have confirmed he is straight, if I don't like something he writes, I can flirt with him until he writes it the way I want *Smirk*. -3. In his own words: "I don't believe I would call myself a christian. Mainly becuase many of my beliefs aren't with christian beliefs. I believe in God and all, I just believe alot differently than most christians." In other words: He's an asshole who just Will Not be like everyone around him. Perfect material to work with if you want an odd story. Likewise, the little twirp is homeschooled and is only fiftheen or so, he's anti-social, and a computer wiz. Simply put: He has more than enough time to help with the story becuase he has less of a life than me. I actual started talking to him before I went on my grand vacation for my birthday about this, that way he has some time to get some things together while I'm relaxing. His main internet name, as you may have already guessed, is HeartCard. What it means, or why he picked it, I don't know or really care. It seems to be working out...for now. HeartCard's Ideas for Somi's Religion: This section is basically Raki-Sempai having to retype an e-mail sent from HeartCard to her: "I think I have the idea for Somi's religion down packed- One God, and four demi-gods. The Demi of Voice(A messenger from "God" to his servants like Somi). The Demi of Life(A spirit who allows life to be born and grow). The Demi of Balance(A spirit who balancing things by destroying life). And the Demi of Soul(A spirit who balances out how energies and souls travel about). The Demis are just basically the greatest servants of "God" turned Spiritual. I've decided that Somi's religion believes that when a soul dies, it splits in half. Half returns to the world and becomes a new soul. This half is considered the "Living Soul" and is not any kind of being, it is basically just the energy of life/etc. The other half either is sent to the heavens to be in the kingdom of "God" in peace and utter harmony where one's dreams become real to them. Or to Hell, where the soul is tortured for as long as possible. It then turns into a demon to serve Lucious Arcadious. This half is considered the "Eternal Soul" and is the person itself in a spiritual form, it retains the personality and body of the original body. When a "Eternal Soul" is sent to Hell, it will eventually turn into a demon. This demon then serves Lucious Arcadious until it is slain. When a Demon is slain, it's soul simply bursts and becomes nothing but "Living Soul" to return to the earth. I believe there should be SOMETHING like the ten commandments, but slightly different. In Somi's Religion, there will only be 5 commandments: 1. Thou shalt have no Gods before me. 2. Thou shalt not kill they of innocence. 3. Thou shalt not steal. 4. Thou shalt not take the name of the Lord in vain. 5. Thou shalt not make for yourself an Idol. That's right, I cut the number in HALF. No reason other than I wanted to really. Other than that, the only one I altered is "Thou shalt not kill" to something I find more interesting "Thou shalt not kill they of innocence." Becuase atleast that way: You can kill all you like, they just can't be innocent. The context of Innocence in Somi's religion is rather simplistic: They who have not taken life(or tried to), nor gone against the will of God, nor serve Lucious Arcadious in any way. In Somi's religion, at the end of each day, Somi must pray for each life she took. And at the end of each week, she must offer a prayer for each person she has met that week. To do such is to show respect to "God" and to the very existance of life itself. In doing so, Somi's religion believes that it will both extend their lives and the lives of each they pray for. Also, Somi's religion belives that one may give prayer for those who have died. In doing so, it makes their sins lighten and will result in one of two things. One, their soul becomes forgiven enough to enter into the kingdom of Heaven. Two, it makes them be able to hold out much longer in hell, while feeling much less pain. However, they must know of the people they pray for, they cannot simply just pray for all those who have died. They must know the people they are praying for. Having atleast seen what they look like. In Closing, Somi's religion teachs to do what is right and is the will of God. Despite personal feelings and the like. They also believe two more things. That following and doing the will of "God" brings happiness and good life. And that for each soul they have saved, the more power "God" will grant them in their time of need." So there you have it, the religion as written by the creator of it: HeartCard ...Well to be honest, I don't know what else to write yet here. So this section may be updated from time to time. Haha, this is Raki-Sempai, and I'll be back some other time. |
