MONSTERS
This part of the guide is for making MONSTER Cards.
Please note that you can create this file anywhere. I will be making this file in a new folder, I do this to avoid confusion. Lets first begin by making the       .set    file we will be using. To do this, simple create a TEXT File as shown below. To do so, simply right click a blank area in the folder and select "Create New File" and then select "Text Document" or "Notepad" as the file type. As shown below.
From here you need to change the name of the newly created text document.
Change the name from "New Text Document.txt"
to our new name. We'll call it "tst.set" and Yes, you MUST Change the .txt   part to    .set    or YVD will not consider it a real set.
Now more likely then not you see that the file does not have an icon anymore, this means that your computer does not know what this file can be used with. Right click the file and select"Open With" and scroll down your list of programs and find one called "Notepad" and open it with this program.You'll notice that there is nothing displayed in the document. Thats becuase we have to put it there. Now lets decide on something. What kind of monster? Lets do the most basic. A NORMAL Monster. We'll call him Donut Man, a level 4 monster with 1900 atk/400 def/ he is a Fiend type mosnter and has a EARTH Attribute. Now how will this look when we are done? Much like this
Well looks like that was no problem. Now we'll talk about changing cards into Effect Monsters, Ritual Monsters, and Fusion Monsters. To do so, all you have to do is add        /Effect   to the end of that monster's Type. So for Donut man to gain an effect, you add  /Effect to the end of    Fiend.  And of course we'll just replace the descripition we gave of donut man with his new effect. Lets have him use a Search effect. He'll bring out a Spell Card that we're going to make later. By the end of doing all this, your card should look like this:
| Donut Man|1|TST|Fiend/Effect|Earth|4||1900|400|When this card is normal summoned, add 1 "Cream Filling" to your hand from your deck.|0|
Now I'm sure most of you are just wonder what the format for effect/ritual/fusoins are right? This is the basic Card Format:
|Monster Name|Number in the Pack|Pack the card is in|Type|Attribute|Level||ATK|DEF|Effect here.|0|
Please note that to make a    |    You need to press   SHIFT+\      and also note that after the monster's level, you MUST Add 2 || or the card will not work properly. The same applies to the     |0|      at the end of the efffect.If it is a normal monster that you make, just use that format and put a descripition of the card where the "Effect here." is. If you want to make a EFFECT Monster, add    /Effect     to the end of the Type. If you want to make a Ritual Monster, add       /Ritual        to the end of the Type, please note that if you want your Ritual Monster to also have an effect you need to place     /Effect     to the end of        /Ritual     in other words, it will look like this          |Type/Ritual/Effect| The same things applies to Fusion monsters, but instead of   /Ritual        you add     /Fusion.    And before some idiot gets this idea in their head, you CANNOT Make a    /Fusion/Ritual       monster, becuase even if you fuse TWO Ritual monsters together that is still a FUSION and not a Ritual action. Just deal with it. Also, if you want to make a new spirit monster*becuase we don't have enough headaches yet* or union monster, just replacet the      /Fusoin      or    /Ritual     with /Union    or      /Spirit     And if you make some kind of    /Fusioin/Union   or    /Ritual/Union , I WILL PERSONALLY KICK YOUR ASS!!!...Actually thats not a bad idea...heheh...I'll stick kick your ass for doing something so complicated. And then I'll kick mine for being a hypocrite.
