She couldn't look into his burning eyes. She was still too embarrassed by the intimate situation they had shared. Alexis fumbled with the buttons on her shirt. Her emotions were so turned around, she didn't know quite what to do with herself. Sonny watched her face closely. He knew that she was struggling with her emotions. The truth be known, he was experiencing the same confusion. He had not been prepared for her beauty. Her skin had been so soft under his gentle caress. He smiled as images of her full breasts flashed behind his close lids. His eyes flew open in shock. Since when did he think of his attorney in such a sexual matter? It confused the hell out of him. Alexis opened her eyes just in time to see Sonny removing his wet shirt. She cursed her bad timing. She was sure images of his firm chest would haunt her dreams for years to come. Her eyes closed quickly, when his hands went to his zipper. She wouldn't torture herself like that. "Do you think anyone is searching for us?" she whispered softly. Her voice had surprised him. He spun around to face her without thought. "Of course they're looking for us. " he said stepping into a pair of sweats. She heard him moving about the cave and cautiously opened her eyes. " Do you have any idea where we are Sonny? " "No clue. I will be able to tell where we are tomorrow morning in the light of day. The best thing we can do is get some sleep." Sonny said reaching for the last dry blanket. "Looks like we are sleeping together tonight Alexis," Sonny said dropping down beside her in the dirt. He flashed her a bright dimpled smile. Alexis swallowed hard as he wrapped the blanket around them. He laid back and opened his arms for her. "We are going to be ok Alexis. I promise, things will look better in the morning." "You think the sunrise will fix the mess we're in?" Alexis said irritated with his optimism. "Don't know, but it sure couldn't hurt. Lay down and get some rest," Sonny said tugging on her shoulders. She finally snuggled closer to his body warmth as her body collapsed and relaxed in to a dream state. Maybe it had been the touch of soft fingers brushing lightly against her skin. Or the light that was now pouring in the caves opening or...."Oh God!" She cried. Sonny's groan did nothing to calm her already fragile nerves. Sometime during the night she had managed to move closer to Sonny raising her thigh over him so that his manhood was between her thigh's cleft. Alexis had a sense memory of rubbing her thigh over him and cuddling his manhood much to her embarrassment now and their mutual enjoyment at the time. Feeling his arousal and cheeks flaming in embarrassment, she pushed herself up off Sonny at the realization. "I'm sorry," she stammered keeping her face averted. "God, so am I." Sonny moaning at her withdrawal and finally leaping to his feet. For a long while, he just stood there with his back to Alexis as she heard his ragged breathing. Alexis didn't have to ask what to the matter was. She knew. After several minutes in which his breathing eventually returned to normal, Sonny walked to the cave's opening and inhaled the fresh morning air. "I'll be back." Sonny said leaving the cave. He did not give her a chance to voice a protest. Alexis expelled the breath she been holding once he was out of sight. She blushed when she realized how comfortable she had slept and how good he had felt. Sonny's body had been so soft and warm, she was almost ashamed to admit that she couldn't remember when she had slept so peacefully. Frankly, she was starving and the dull ache had returned to her ankle. Sonny looked around taking in all of his surroundings. They were in the middle of nowhere, surrounded by rugged terrain. In the distance he could see mountains. Nothing was familiar. "Good Lord, where are we?" Sonny whispered. A devilish smile appeared on this face, remembering how good her body felt against him and what she had been doing to him in her sleep. Sonny was no longer sure that he could keep his resolve not to touch her. He wasn't sure what was happening to him and the way he was feeling about her. He was filled with an aching desire to part her lips with his tongue and taste her. "Get a grip Cornithos, this is your attorney and your friend." He scolded himself at his forbidden thoughts. Sonny was so caught up in his emotional turmoil, it took him several seconds to realize what he was hearing. It was Alexis and she was screaming his name repeatedly with a real urgency. "Alexis!" Sonny yelled before breaking into a mad run back toward the cave where Alexis cried out for him.
