Trained from birth to protect humanity from the dangers of rogue freewill robots, Magnus has defended North Am from all dangers, be they great or small. Now, as the world reels from the final assault of the Malevs, Magnus must forge a new life for himself....

MAGNUS, ROBOT FIGHTER

CAST OF CHARACTERS
Leeja Clane
As the daughter of an influential Senator (and later North Am President), Leeja grew up accustomed to the finer things in life. She met Magnus shortly after he first appeared in North Am, and quickly became enamored of her city's greatest champion. Though their relationship suffered many ups and downs, the two were eventually married and produced a son named Torque. Leeja's ability to channel ectotheric energy made her a valuable member of the Future Force during that group's activity. Leeja was killed during the final Malev assault.
Torque
The headstrong son of Magnus and Leeja, Torque is named after his grandfather. Torque inherited many of his father's abilities, but rarely saw eye-to-eye with Magnus. Torque was forced to become a Psi-Lord to save his own life during the final Malev assault and directly confronted Solar the Destroyer over his father's apparent death.
Solar the Destroyer
A variant personality created by the original Solar, the Destroyer was designed to eradicate the Spider-Aliens from existence. He did just that and eventually destroyed the Malevs as well. The Destroyer has rubbed some powerful people the wrong way over the years, clashing with the Psi-Lords and Torque at times. Humility is not something generally associated with the Destroyer and it's understandable -- he's nearly God-like in his powers.
Elzy
An outstanding roboticist and businesswoman, Elzy worked on the Goph level, scavenging the lower levs for junk robot parts. She hired Magnus for a time to help her in her work and became one of his most trusted friends. Elzy remained close to Magnus all the way through the Malev horrors and is one of the few who still believe Magnus is alive.
1-A
The robot 1-A is one of those who believed that humans depended too much on his kind. He was the first freewill robot, capable of independant thought, after experiencing a power surge. 1-A realized that other freewills could be a great danger to mankind and he became the world's first Robot Fighter. When the task became too much for him alone, he took in the baby Magnus and raised him to protect humanity. 1-A went through various forms over the years and currently appears as a kindly older gentleman.

Glia
A member of the Freewill Consortium High Council, Glia debuted in Magnus # 67. A beautiful robot shaped in the form of a woman, Glia is surprisingly human thanks to modern advancements circa 4022. She is warm to the touch and fully functional in terms of her emotional responses. But there is also much more to Glia than first meets the eye -- Magnus has set out to resolve the many mysteries surrounding her.
Nikolas Clane
A rising member of the Senate and a relative of the late President Clane and his daughter, Leeja. Introduced in Magnus # 70, Clane has designs on restoring the "glory" of old North Am, meaning that Freewills would once again be outlawed and Earth would be free of Starwatcher influence.
