To help academically good but financially under priviledged students to carry over and complete their studies of skill and to prepare a selfless person through the atmosphere and value based activities.
 

"I came from a poor working family from a remote village. Traveling in those days was a nightmare, especially from that remote village. Money was scarce and no credit, lending or borrowing was possible. Despite of these hardships, like many others, I had managed to make it to Vidyanagar for pursuing a college education. Hostel life was good but, without money it was inaccessible for me. I went without food for almost a week, barely surviving on fistful of chana mamras a day. I almost gave up my cherished dream. Temptation was to go for my family trade or take some kind of job. Keeping focused on the main objective was disillusioned. Then, through another student I heard about the Ashram. I went there and found a gate to heaven. A solution to all my problems. There were students like me living a life style of poor rich. Poor-from money point of view, but rich from living life full of joy, friendship and achievement. … My disillusions were sorted out and once again, I found a true meaning of the conquest. I lived in the Vallabh Seva Ashram from 1959 to 1963.

I graduated in 1964 and after working for seven years in India, came to USA. Indeed, Ashram provided me with the richness of life, full of talented and warm hearted friends, besides getting me the college education and achieving the dream. Without Ashram, I don’t know, where in life I could have been. It’s rightly said that a brain is a terrible thing to waste."
