The Amazons play a vital role in the forest.  They migrate between the forests and the mountains but spend most of their time in the trees during the year.  They are the tall elegant warrior women who normally would only have a man around them to mate.  Any male children which they produce was usually killed.  These women were said to be warriors and supposeably very good at it as well.  They were expert hunters and brave fighters. The Amazons of the Valley have been here for protection, like most of the animals around these parts.  Once sought out for their culture and to be placed as slaves in auctions to sell at a high price these women took refuge with King Nialo.  They now hunt and fight along side the king, remaining every so faithful to him.  Though they were known to hate men they seem to have evolved just slightly.
