The pegasus roams the valley within the skies or inside the forest with their unicorn and wild horse cousins.  They are a magical beast with majestic wings and beautifully long mane.  The pegasus is an immortal winged creature who was said to have sprung from the blood of Medusa, according to Greek Mythology.  It was said to have eventually been tamed and bridled to become a horse of the muses.  It was said that the pegasus was to represent high-flying imagination. The pegasus in the Valley are friendly compared to their shying cousins the unicorn, who would much rather keep to themselves.  The pegasus is a wild animal of freedom, it soars through the sky with such grace that it is hard to take your eyes off of the beauty.
