Pixies, this is a lovely race of a type of fairie.  The major difference between the two is that pixies thrive on mischief.  They exibit extreme curiosity, almost to the point of suicide attempts.  They primarily thrive in forests and mountains.  Though pixies are usually always in the same area as a ring of fairies, their cousins.  These creatures were once hunted and would become pets to the wealthy and noble.  Though here in the Valley they are free of such slavery.  A pixie is very tiny and can sometimes be mistaken as insects.  They can stand up to two and a half feet in height but rarely do the ones in the Valley get that big.  They are not all cute and mischievous though, don't get me wrong.  Some can be evil though they usually keep to themselves.  Some can even be timid.  But the majority is as legend tells.  Each pixie carries with it a pair of glossy wings, their skin is never the mortal pink, unless they take their large human form, which never exceeds over five feet.  They have odd colored hair and stinging eyes that hardly look natural though if you are familiar with pixies, each one is just as unique and unusual as the next.
