Trolls are large naive creatures who inhabit caves or hills. They are generally dangerous, human-like creatures though can sometimes be somewhat ignorant of others. Though unlike humans they have four fingers and four toes and sometimes have a tail resembling that of a cow. Trolls can live to be hundreds of years old though some of the ones who rush through the Valley will turn to stone if they are ever caught in sunlight. Though they might look frightening there are some who are quite timid, though none the less simple-minded. The trolls supernatural powers consist, among other things, of transforming themselves, for example, as beautiful women to lure men into the woods where they would capture them. Though a troll can never transform its tail, which makes it somewhat difficult to hide when trying to lure unsuspecting victims into the forests. Though not all trolls are pot-bellied old thugs as you see before. Some are quite intellegent and scheming creatures that are fierce warriors and skillful spearsmen. They are several different tribes and species among the mountains, probably too many to keep track of. |
