Zombies of Many Faces

Within the walls of the Valley of Immortals there is one thing you need to remember.  Though zombies are traditionally decaying corpses that feast upon the brains of a living mortal (which will in turn make that individual a zombie as well...viscious circle), in the Valley there is a different species of zombies.  These zombies, are not quite as thick in the head as the popular myth of such a beast.  Though they are not the smartest, they had to evolve if they wished to survive through the swamp.  There are far worse predators than the Zombie. These zombies are fast, and they can shape and form anything they desire.  They know how to hunt, but at the same time, they hunt brains, much like the legend foretells.  Sometimes, these zombies will feast upon other animals but they have the agile ability to capture their prey and can spawn new zombies very easily.  Therefore they were placed in the swamp where few mortals would roam. Some say the zombies of the Valley had once been blessed with the power of demon warlords, which explains their speed and new shapeshifting features.  But, the real cause will forever be a mystery to the Valley's inhabitants.
