Thomas Persons
	Thomas was born in Littleton, New Hampshire in 1814.  He moved to Waterford, Vermont and came to Afton in 1854.  He married Maria Huntley.  They had four children: Simon, Phinias P., Curtis J., and Edgar.  Thomas was the town supervisor for 13 years.  He owned 200 acres.  He sold his 40 acres in Sec. 22 to Nels Hawkinson.
