Concrete blocks reportedly left from the old water pumphouse, which was destroyed in 1999.

This mudflat (taken 7-30-03) is closer to the Cherry Street side. You can see that the creekbottom on the right rises above water lefl, and that sticks resting on the creekbottom are half in and half out of the water because it is so shallow.  The creek water level has reportedly gotten lower in recent years.

Park Neighbor tries to move gravel away from the creek after the long-awaited pumping of the pipe under Valley Street by MOA Street Maintenance on May 28, 2003.  She continues her decades-long habit of clearing deadwood and debris from area so the creek will flow more easily.

This spraypainting was done in the beginning of June, the photo was taken 6-19-03, Parks and Rec would not permit it to be trimmed off during the 7-31-03 cleanup and it remains on the northwest corner of the park between trail and road.
