| Cosmo was born in August 16th 2001 in Pori, Finland. He's my first dog so it's quite interesting to see how things will work out. Hovawart is a German breed for guarding and protecting. In Finland it's used alot for eg. tracking. It needs alot of exercise and has to be trained well. Male's height is 63-70cm/24.8-27.6 inches. This far we've been on a puppy and obedience courses and we've took part in one dog show. After moving away from town we haven't been very active. Luckily we did find a search group here at Lepaa and we've been training there since fall 2004. ( Not sure what searching people and objects is in english or how common it is in other countries. If you know what the proper term is I'd be glad if you'd let me know what it's really called! ) We live in dorms at the campus with 3 other girls and their dogs. Cosmo really enjoys having some canine company. |
