Of Life and Blood

Musty smells, over crowding, junk, an antique shop.  There was a big blow out for violins and all the local vampires went.  The storeowner, an elderly family strung them up for testing and organizing them, taking some out putting some back all the while others were being tested.  I had one already so I walked around looking at the jewelry.  I suddenly looked at the time with a heart sinking feeling…  I had to go to work! I ran out of there and down the road a little until I came to the shopping center. I ran up to the movie theater and burst in.  It was time to get ready.  Even though I wasn't in uniform, I needed to get the projectors ready, clean the floor and get tickets ready.  The theater opened in a few minutes and I looked like hell.
The customers came, got their tickets and I showed them the way to their room, taking their stubs as the entered.
At last I could relax for an hour.  A handsome man with long, wavy, dark hair and a strong jaw walked in and spied me.  Ooh would I LOVE to sink my fangs into that one!!  A fine specimen of a man, well built, rugged, dark clothing.  He had this manner about him that described him as confident, yet cautious.  He spied me from over my boss's shoulder.  As out eyes locked I planted a thought command into his mind telling him to meet me at my place after my job was done.  I would have my way with him then, but I didn't want to be caught for what I really am; a vampire.

As I continued to work, I thought about all the others I've done that to.  There aren't many, I can tell you that.  I only have six others and I have them to my pleasure whenever I want.  Hmm.  That reminds me.  Our monthly masters meeting is in two days.
More to come.  Meanwhile, enjoy the prelude.
