Review:

I listened to two songs from this up-and-coming female punk/alternative band, namely Isolationist and Damaged Goods.
They are rich with brash, in-your-face arrogance and tough girl-power lyrics.Their musical influences spring from such punk bands as Offspring, Green Day, Nirvana and Sex Pistols.

Lead guitarist and manager, Sondra Menthers blends youthful enthusiasm with blatant feminism, a very powerful and provocative combination. Widely heard on stations such as Altered States, Fetish Tunes, Razors Edge and Queer Theories, this all-girl band is based in Los Angeles, California.

Interview about the song Damaged goods:

What is this song about?
"Damaged Goods was written from personal experience that me (Sondra) had being a stripper and a Dominatrix and that Linda had being friends with a lot of strippers and porn stars and its a kind of combination of things that we have all either seen or went through or that our friends have gone through."

What perspective is it from?
"It is from the perspective of the stripper/dominatrix singing the song to the customers. 'For all you pricks...' are the guys who go to the bachelor parties, or call girls out of the LA Express for service and how we like to humiliate, beat, or diss them."

Do you have anything you'd like to say to your fans?
"We really love our fans and want you to help us overthrow authority!"
