Sirena

Born in France in 1976 as Sirena Phuri Dae. Raised in a semi-traditional kumpanyi setting. The differences meant everything, however. This kumpania's Bardo was, herself, a phralmulo. Yet the people loved her and most would valiantly defend her out of love, and sometimes fear. Zelda was a warm and loving woman. She provided "her children" with anything and everything they needed. Yet at the same time she was fierce, and unforgiving of any who would bring injustice to her kumpania.

The kumpania itself consisted of Rroma from each of the main familias. Some were merely born into the kumpania, while others sought it out because they shared the common ideal: to peacefully unite all familias, and that the gaji weren't so bad. Sirena was born into it. Though born of Phuri Dae parents; Sirena herself wasn't as psychically inclined as her bloodline was. Instead she was gifted wuth the fluid motions of a dancer, and it wasn't long before she was considered a master of the Zapaderin.

Zelda always carefully watched over Sirena. No one knew why for sure. Other than it had to do with her own childe, Adrianna. Another saw fit to watch over Sirena as well. Her Prala, Malachai. He carefully took her under his wing and taught her the art of using the talith. A unique and easily hidden weapon. The weapon itself was no more than a diklo with hooks and barbs added to the ends. Making it very easy to wear, and sneak past the Shanglo, as nothing more than a piece of clothing. Few could master the art of using the tailth, but Sirena, already adept as the Zapaderin, learned easily. Using her dance moves as part of the fighting.

At Sirena's birth the Drabarne performed a birth reading on her, and she was claimed by the elemet of water, making her Jastima. Some claim this is why she so easily learned the Zapaderin. Another gift she seemed to possess, is what is called The Truth of the Rom. This talent gave her the ability to lie so well, that she even believed her lies. Another excellent weapon to use against the Shanglo.

Sirena always enjoyed when Adrianna would track down the kumpania and spend a week or two with them. She'd listen intently as Adri would tell tales of the Americas. So it was no surprise when Sirena asked to go spend some time stateside with Adrianna. Zelda of course agreed, knowing that her childe would look after Sirena as well as she herself could. Adrianna more than happily accepted Sirena into her home.

Shortly after her arrival in Necropolis, Sirena met a man by the name of Derrick Montgomery. The resy is, as they say, history. Sirena made her permenate home with Derrick. They travled to France to be married by Zelda. That trip in itself was stressfull, with her kumpania having mixed emotions on one of their own marrying a gaji. Malachai especially wasn't fond of the idea. Finally Adrianna arrived in France to attend the rite, and set them all straight. No one

dared piss her off, as in doing so, they would feel Zelda's wrath as well. So they swallowed their complaints, and watched on silently as Zelda married the two.

     Soon after the marriage, Sirena found herself pregnant. Though she was elated about it, she was also somewhat trepeditious of the gaji doctors. Only after weeks of Derrick nagging her, did she finally agree to go to his personal doctor. Still....that wasn't enough. The closer it came to her due date, the more she nagged Derrick to take her home. Another trip to France to find the roaming kumpania. When they did locate them at last, everyone was over joyed for Sirena, and glad that she came back to give birth to her child there.

     That was two years ago. Now her, Derrick, and their son, Derrick Jr., live quite happily in Necropolis.

     Time has passed, as have loved ones. A great war was waged with the Romani, and Derrick fought honorably.....and gave his life for those who would shun him. Never knowing that Sirena carried a child within her. That child she named Victoria Rose.

As Derrick Jr. got older, he proved to be a medium of sorts. Seeing his father often. Passing messages on to Sirena. After years of being a widow, Sirena finally entered the dating pool once more. Tricky to say the least. Single mother of 2. Eventually though, she found someone, oddly enough.......a former lover of her "Aunt" Adrianna's.........
