I WILL RETURN |
By Calum and Rory Macdonald (Runrig) |
Summer has come, another year, and my sun will not rise on high, my feet are heavy wanting (to go) home, I am healthy. I am young, but weak, drowning for your kiss, I will not sleep, until I return to my love. CHORUS: I will return, I will return home, I will return home, I will not sleep, until I return to my love. From time to time I'll be walking, alone down the street, thinking about a long river, lying far from the road. It (the river) full of swimming trout, and a strong itch in my hand. I will not sleep, until I return to you my love. CHORUS: When night falls upon me, that is the worst time there is, me lying in my bed, and you in my head. The summer would not be just so bad, and you lying by my side. I will not sleep, until I return to you my love. CHORUS: |
