| We have a block of rooms set aside at the Walper Terrace Hotel (where the reception is taking place). If you book this calendar year (2003) the rates are set, but they will be going up in 2004. Please call 1-800-265-8749 or email Service@walper.com to reserve or get more information. Remember to tell them you are booking for the Zehr-Vanderhout wedding in May 2004 - and don't forget to book before April! Current Rates for Wedding Guests: Regular Room (one Queen or two Doubles): $95/night Jr. Suite (same as regular but with a separate sitting area): $110/night Suite (separate living room and bedroom and a larger bathroom): $125/night |
| Other Hotels/Motels in the area: All of these hotels/motels are roughly a 10-15 min. drive from the Walper. The Comfort Inn 2899 King Street East, Kitchener (519)894-3500 I did a search on the Choice Hotels website for "Kitchener" to get this information. It looks like their cheapest rate for a single person is about $100/night. Knights Inn 2808 King Street East, Kitchener (519)893-6641 I do not know anything about the Knights Inn, but they are only about $60/night. Sherwood Motel 2830 King Street East, Kitchener (519)893-6122 Again, I do not really know anything about this place but they are advertising a price of $60/night. Howard Johnson 1333 Weber Street East, Kitchener (519)893-1234 Single rooms start at $79 right now. There are many more hotels and motels in the area - the ones listed above are the closest and least expensive. Feel free to check out the Yellow Pages online, or contact us, if you are looking for something a bit different. |
