Dedicated to her dancing and singing friend, Kara Hagarty (1985-2001), it was difficult for Vanessa to reserve her emotions:
"I chose to mention the influential people in my life who passed away over the last year. When I began speaking of Vern and Mabel [Ennis], I got choked up. I had to pause before dedicating the show to Kara, because my emotions made it hard to speak and I could not find the words to describe the beautiful spirit she is. It was even more difficult when I saw people who knew her sobbing; I couldn't look at them. Once I got passed that part of the show, it was easier to focus on entertaining the audience... All of the shows went extremely well, and I am very proud of my sisters for accomplishing so much in such little time... One of the biggest perks of this lifestyle is the live performances because they have provided some of the best experiences of my life."
