Math-Science Day REMINDER
                               Friday, May 20, 2005

WHAT TO WEAR:  Color coordinated shirt for your day.
    Comfortable walking shoes.
   Dress appropriately for weather conditions.
   (Chaperons will not carry your belongings.)
            
WHAT TO BRING: Snack for the bus.*
   Sharpened pencil to do your activities.
   Book  for the bus. (No Walkmen)*
   (* These should be left on the bus.)

Schedule:
   7:10 - 7:25 Arrive at Lake Ridge Elementary Center
   7:30   Buses leave Lake Ridge Center (We cannot wait for late arrivals.)
   8:45  Arrive at King's Dominion
   9:00-3:00 Science By Van activities at the  Eiffel Tower
   9:30 Competition Team Meeting at Kidzville. (Only competition teams need attend.)
10:00   Competition activities begin. (Check your schedule if you are competing)
10:30, 12:30, 2:00)  Mad Science Show - Paramount Theater (You must attend one showing.)
11:00- 1:00 Picnic Lunch at the Pavilion.
   2:00  Awards Ceremony (Eiffel Tower)
   3:45  Park closes. Return immediately to bus
   4:00  Buses leave King's Dominion
   5:30  Estimated arrival back at Lake Ridge Elementary Center
                       
Parents:  Please be on time to pick up your children.
    
                                         
Parents and Chaperones:
            PLEASE park along Hedges Run Drive as a courtesy
       to leave space in the parking lot for school staff and faculty.

From Route 1 (Woodbridge)

Turn Left onto Gordon Blvd. (VA 123)
Turn Left onto Old Bridge Road (VA 641)
Turn Right at light onto Hedges Run Dr. (Giant shopping Center is on the corner.)
There will be 2 stop signs.  Continue on and the school is on the Left.

From Prince William Parkway (Dale City)

Turn Right at the Intersection of Pr. Wm Parkway and Old bridge Road (VA 641)
Turn Left at light onto Hedges Run Dr. (Giant shopping Center is on the corner.)
There will be 2 stop signs.  Continue on and the school is on the Left.
