| Ms. Christine A. Walden was born and raised on City Island: a quaint and nautical island that measures less than a mile long, and rests in the Bay of the Hudson River in New York City. She is the youngest of four children, who were lovingly reared by William and Lorraine Lachman. She recently moved to Lake Ridge where she enjoys teaching children at Lake Ridge Elementary School. She loves to ride horses, develop black and white photographs, knit, read, and fix up her new townhouse, making it into a home. |

| Ms. Walden graduated Cum Luade from Iona College, where she received a Bachelor of Science degree in Education. She spent three years teaching at Pablo Casal’s Middle School 181 in the Bronx. During those years, she was the grade leader for the Fifth Grade Team, the gfeneral education teacher in an inclusion classroom, the debate team coach and the instructor of Gifted Students during various projects and programs. Currently, Ms. Walden works side by side with Mrs. Lyndy VanHoutan, as a Gifted Resource teacher for the SIGNET program at Lake Ridge Elementary. She is enjoying the transition from New York to Virginia, and feels extremely fortunate to be working with the many dedicated professionals and talented educators. |
