Shelly Curis, threw Vanessa a baby shower in late February, just two weeks before she was due to give birth to son, Kassius. The shower was held in Shelly's house with about 65 guests, couples mostly. Attendees included, Vanessa's mom, sister and neice along with Brian's mom, dad, grandparents, sister and neice. General Hospital Co-stars included Ingo Rademacher, Wendy Riche, Rena Sofer and acting coach, John Homa. Also on hand to offer his congradulations was NYPD Blue Co-star Essai Morales.
Vanessa receieved many wonderful gifts, her two favorites came from the new Grandma's Patricia and Joyce. Patricia gave Vanessa a plaque, that hung in Vanessa's childhood bedroom along with a note about what it meant to her to be her mother and what she hopes motherhood is like for her daughter. Brian's mom had a toy chest made with hand painted photos of the couples 4 dogs and Kassius' name on top.
The Shower began in the afternoon and ran until midnight- a good time had by all. |
