The 19-week ultrasound was exhausting for everybody. The baby was extreemly active, and was not willing to participate. The tech had Meagan constantly flipping and moving to attempt to get the baby into position. After some serious pokes to the stomach, the baby would shoot across to the other side, but sat proudly, curled in a ball with it's legs crossed and punching the space in front of it's face. As mom and dad-to-be were ready to fall asleep, the tech gave Meagan another poke. Baby Vanover whipped it's head toward the transducer and shot everyone a nasty look (below left). We have to go back next week to try to finish the exam. Hopefully, we'll all be more awake!
