AUTUMN IN MY HEART.....

Autumn in my Heart, or Autumn Love Story, is about a young boy and girl - Junxi and Enxi - who grew up as brother and sister but were cruelly separated when their parents found out that Enxi wasn't really his sister (she had been accidentally switched with another baby at birth). His real sister, Xinai, was in fact Enxi's classmate and nemesis and would often bully Enxi in class and make life difficult for her. Junxi's love for his 'sister' was strongly portrayed in the show through his acts of kindness towards Enxi as well as his defensiveness in protecting her from the irritating bitchiness of Xinai and the old-fashioned and sometimes insensitive acts of his parents. After about a decade of absence from each other, Junxi suddenly returned to Korea from the States to search for his first love, i.e. Enxi - to tell her that he was getting engaged! Most unforgettable scene from the show #1:

i cried buckets when i saw how little Enxi ran after her parents' car as they were driving to the airport...When she approached the tunnel, she knew that she could not catch up with them and called out for her mother, father and brother - to no avail, of course. It was then that the scenery changed from one end of the tunnel to the other - first an empty pool of light; then a huge, tall image of a grown-up man appeared... Junxi of a decade later. As he pensively walked towards the tunnel, his brows were furrowed with pain and sorrow as he reminisced upon the old days... That of Enxi and himself singing together on a bicycle on their way to school.
