Isn't it wonderfully quiet when I don't update? Eh. So...life. Umm...last weekend I went to Maria's birthday party. We went to Skateworld, and I met her friend Marc. He's cool, and I love his hair. He has a ponytail that's a little longer than mine. It looks really cool. The night before Beckey slept over, cuz her parents were out of town for the weekend, and she needed a ride to Maria's party. So we went to yoga, and then messed around at my house. I had fun. On Tuesday I went to an Xmas party at Beckey's house. Sagi, Santa, Brian, Alex, Katie, Phoebe and Hailey were there. I gave everyone their Xmas present. I wrapped Beckey's in like, 3 boxes and ductape. Boy, was she happy. Sagi and I ended up having to open her present. Santa got me a belt, Sagi a necklace and bracelet, Phoebe a bracelet, Beckey a little smiley face thing and Alex a GCN game. I had so much fun at the party...we played DDR, Soul Caliber II, Guilty Gear X2, and Sagi and I watched Furuba. My parents were evil buttmunchers and didn't let me sleepover though. Grrr...had a fit. *sigh* But whatcha gonna do...Anyway...only 1 day till Xmas. Usually I'm so excitied I can't think, but this year I'm all laid back about it. Guess I've just matured, or something. Oh well. You know those advent calandar things? We have those, but we haven't eaten the chocolates one day at a time like you're supposed to. I think it was Monday, and my sister and I ate like, 10, cuz we had forgotten. Hmmm...stupid parents looking over shoulder...My cousin Steph's staying after Xmas again this year. Wonder what we're gonna do this time. Probably go to Lazertag and other places. And I might go to a play on Tuesday with Sagi. Something to do with Narnia. Might be nice, if my mom lets me go. *sigh* Sometimes I hate my life.

November 28, 2004
Thanksgiving was kinda boring. I watched part of Jack Frost, all of Matilda, most of Prince of Egypt, and my cousin Steph play Sims 2. I didn't each much, I never do. I don't like all the extra stuff, like mashed potatoes and the stuffing. On Friday Sagi and Santa slept over. I invited Beckey, but she was in Seattle, so she couldn't come. We had so much fun...we watched the first episode of DNAngel, cuz I got it on a CD with my Newtype magazine. It's...interesting. I've read the first 3 volumes of the manga, and I like them. But the anime...*shrugs* It's amusing. I'm reading Azumanga Daioh, currently. Tess and Phoebe are matching all the characters to one of our group. I'm Sakaki, Sagi's Chiyo-chan, Santa's Yomi, etc. Alex is Tomo, which is funny, cuz he's a guy, except his personality matches that of Tomo...*laughs* I'm almost exactly like Sakaki, except I'm not exactly that obsessed with cats...just a little. It's funny, though. I downloaded some more mp3s. I'm trying to find Christmas ones, since our house is decorated and...yeah. I've found some, but I've also found some other cool songs. *blushes* I'm kinda obsessed...but I'm not a fangirl. I do not obsess about those things a la fangirl. That's what throws most people off. *shrugs* We have Donkey Konga, that game you play with the bongos, which is really dumb...but Santa wanted to play, so we did. It was really hilarious...I explained it on the fly, and beat them at almost everything...except for the drumrolls at the end. Santa had some creepy talent, and we always tied, or one of us won by one point. *shakes head* Anyway...I saw National Treasure yesterday. It was okay. It had the guy who played Boromir in LotR in it, so I was happy. He was playing the "bay guy" though, which made me wonder...but the whole concept of the movie was interesting. Except for the romance part. It was completely unnecessary. But the sidekick guy, Riley, he was hilarious. Always lightening the mood...there need to be more people like that in the world.

Dim Sum 0|/\|/\/z j00! A.K.A. steamed pork buns. They're so
good! My dad makes them. We bought some when we were in Chinatown, San
Francisco, but I think my dad's are better. That's kinda sad, though...*shrugs*
I finished the WindWaker today! It was really easy. Easier than the Ocarina
of Time, at least. I can't wait till the new one comes! But it's not coming
out until like...March or something of 2005. Good news? The DS came out
today!!! ^.^ Hmm...There's something wrong with my fingers. I had to go
outside and clean out my parent's cars, and my hands were so cold they
were warm. But now my right hand is kinda swollen. The fingers on that
hand have bulges or something in them, and are bigger than the fingers
on my left hand. *shrugs* It doesn't hurt, just feels weird. *sigh* It
was funny at lunch yesterday. Kassia brought her ipod, which she calls
Bethany or something...anyway, Kassia and I started singing along with
Minority, by Green Day. I was singing softly, with the music, but Kassia...well,
she was singing kinda loud, and offkey. No offense, but people started
looking at us, and Sagi and Phoebe were laughing. David was trying to
study for his math test, so he got mad and left. *shrugs* Kassia started
doing this weird dance, and we all cracked up. It was HILARIOUS...*laughs*
And I bought a new CD! Sticks and Stones, by New Found Glory. It was the
only album they had with songs on it that I knew, so that's why I didn't
get their newest one. But I like it. *hums* Oh, and one more thing. We're
FINALLY getting a new computer! So I get the one I'm on now, my old crappy
one goes away, and Dad gets a newer one. I got to help pick it out. *beams*
Not that I know that much about how computers work on the inside. But
it was interesting...slightly.

November 6, 2004
Shopping! We go to the mall to find a present for Justene's
friend, Lauren, and we find it, but what else to we get? Clothes!!! And
jewelry!!! For us!!! I'm done with the exclamation points now. Anyway...I
have 2 new skirts O.O, 3 shirts, a necklace, 3 pairs of earrings, 2 bracelet/wristband
thingies, and...the November issue of Newtype. I think that's it. The
one skirt I got is really cool, all black and lacyish. We were supposed
to wash and clean my dad's car, but, well...it's too cold out anyway.
The water won't dry and there'll be water stains and THEN we'd have to
do it all over again. So I veto that idea. Ummm...went to the beach this
weekend cuz we had 4 days. Not really exciting, but hey, whatcha gonna
do? Bought some magnets for my locker, cuz I need some more. I have a
half locker, cuz I'm a freshman, but I still have to have a collection
of art and poetry decorating it. I also have a whiteboard, which takes
up the majority of one side of the locker. And I have a ton of books,
and a 1 inch binder for nearly every class, a Spanish dictionary...and
I have to fit my lunch in it. It all fits, somehow. But it doesn't leave
much room for decorations. *shrugs* At least I have a top locker, and
I don't have to bend down. That would suck. Both Maria and Morgan have
bottom lockers. For Maria it's not such a big deal, besides the fact that
Alex's locker is above her's, and they're nearly the same height, and
his locker is a deathtrap...Morgan's locker is a mess, cuz she has to
shove her backpack in there, and her lunch, and she has a regular binder
as well as others...I think...and yeah. I use a messenger bag, so I just
carry it around with me everywhere. I don't do purses. *cringes* Which
reminds me. My sister is turning into a prep!!! It's scary. She's constantly
talking about boys, and has a creepy purse, and wears preppyish clothes...*wants
to run as far away as possible* And she is always saying how fat she is,
and complaining about the size of her butt, and other crap like that.
It's really creepy...and she acts like a dumb blonde all the time. She
is blonde, actually, but her hair has darkened over the years, so she
says it's a dirty blonde, or something like that. *shudders* And what's
worse, is my parents notice, though they don't let on that they do, AND
they don't do anything about it!!! I mean, how oblivious can you get?!?!
Grrrrrrrrrrrrrr...*sigh* How's life? Life is full of...nasty surprises,
let's say.
Quote of the day: They do not say what lies ahead, when sun is gone, and moon is dead.
November 6, 2004
*seethes* Okay then. I originally had a rant here, but since our computer is dying and being a buttmuncher at the same time, it froze before I had a chance to save. Since I don't feel like writing my rant again, and the whole purpose was to pass the time anyway, maybe I'll write about it again tomorrow. Who knows? Anyway...Beckey's house is HUGE!!! But I don't see how anyone could get lost in it. Confused, yes, but lost, no. I mean, who names their bathroom without a shower their POWDER ROOM?!?! And they have a THEATER with 26 or something seats in it!!! O.O Somebody save me. And she says she wants to come over to my house...*shakes head* Oh well. She'll get a surprise, all right. Though, I guess there is one good thing. My bedroom's bigger than hers, strange as it sounds. ^.^
Quote of the day: We are the cartoon heroes...
November 5, 2004
*spaz* It's already November, goddamit!!! Where did my time
go?!?! Yeah...I was/am grounded from the internet, so that's my lousy
excuse for not updating. I asked Sagi to update once for me, but I guess
she was too busy...my trip to California was fun, especially since i got
my FF7 game back, the one that was "lost"...High School is boring. Geometry's
so boring, my notebook has several pages of drawings in it. Ummm...the
only remotely interesting class is Design. It's kinda like a set design
class, except it covers costumes, marketing, etc. We're watching the Godfather
right now, to critique its design. The first R rated movie I've ever seen,
and it's not even a movie I wanted to watch. Life's been...well, life.
Tomorrow I'm going over to Beckey's house, to hang. Yeah...*grumbles about
parents* I was planning on doing a really long, in depth blog, to bring
myself up to date, but that idea died. ^.^' Oh well. You can't do everything.
Quote of the day: Some people are SO easily amused...*cough*
July 20, 2004
*sigh* I've been so "busy" lately, I haven't had time to complete
the layout. I'm gonna try really hard to work on it this weekend. Our
computer's giving us problems, and it wants to die on us. I've been really
careful not to use too many programs at the same time and overload the
computer. But it still sucks...Anyway, my room's coming along. The paint
looks really cool, cuz it looks white but when a shadow's cast on the
wall it turns a very light blue. I've been putting up my million game
posters and Megatokyo printouts. Oh, and some art from Traumabunny that
I printed out to hang up in my locker. But since school's over...duh...it's
going on my wall. I still have to write down all the words/lyrics I'm
gonna paint on my wall for "parent proofing", but that won't take but
a couple minutes. *is alternating watching her sister play Kingdom Hearts
and typing* Umm...I don't have much more to say...
Quote of the day: Time grabs you by the wrist and directs you where to go...
July 11, 2004
Another month, and FINALLY another layout. I think my skillz are improving...*grin* *is proud of herself* Anyway, my first year anniversary is coming up. But unfortunately, I'm going to be out of town. Driving all over California, hitting all the amusement parks. And stuff. Cool, ne? The only problem is that I get no computer access the whole time, which is like 2 and a half weeks. And Maria's going to Estonia for...two weeks I think, she's leaving at the end of this week. *cries* I'm going to miss her SO much...and yes, I know she's coming back, but I still can't help but miss her. Our computer almost crashed the other day, so my dad was pissing and moaning all over the place. He was backing up everything yesterday onto CD-RW disks yesterday. And yeah...not much else to say...except I hate my FFVII game, cuz for some reason I'm back at the beginning, when I was on the second disk...*insert more whining here* That's partially why I'm depressed. But nobody cares...
Quote of the day: This is the story of a girl, who cried a river, and drowned the whole world...
June 26, 2004
Grr...still too busy to make a new layout. Went to Lazertag
with Maria today. I finally got my Green Day CD back! After three months...not
that it's Maria's fault. Lazertag was fun. The first game, there were
a bunch of idiots that didn't understand that when you get hit you can't
shoot people, and that it's not polite to stand there with your lazer
gun pointing at someone's stomach. *shakes head* We almost won the first
game. The second game we played with a birthday party...bunch of little
people running around. I was up in the balcony in my corner. It was funny
to shoot people below you and then watch them spin around expecting an
attack from behind. They never think to look up, until they remember that
there's a second level. But I'll duck down, so they get even more confused...one
kid looked right at me, but didn't see me...kids these days. I've lost
weight, and it's scaring me. I have to buckle my belts tighter, and...yeah.
I haven't lost my appetite, but I think 4 hours of basketball 3 days in
a row does things to you...*shifty eyes* It's not my fault. I swear. I'm
sure it's not your fault. Nothing's ever your fault... Oh shut up,
Cali. Last thing I need is you. But you do have me, I'm right here.
I didn't mean literally. Well, then I guess you should have thought
about that before you said it. *sigh* There's no talking to you. Then
why do you even try? I don't know, Tercero...I need someone to
talk to, I guess. Then you picked the wrong
person. Would you quit bugging me? Anyway, I finally started playing
FFVII again. I'm almost at the part where I can get Vincent! *huggles
Vinnie* Hands off my lover. Don't worry Cali, he's just my bishie.
I wouldn't even think of trying to steal him from you. *mutters* Like
he'd even want me...picture time! Let's see...there's this
one, and this one. Those are my two favorites.
I have others, but I don't feel like digging them out. And no, I did not
draw them. I'm not that talented. *cough* Though I wish I was. Hmm...
Quote of the day: You never realize how much you love something until it's gone.
June 16, 2004
I hate getting up at 7 on weekdays. Especially to go swim
for an hour. I have to wear a swim cap so my hair doesn't dry out, and
it looks UGLY...my legs hurt, and so do my arms...And I'm working on a
new layout. I think this is the picture I'm going
to use...or one of the pictures. I scanned it from my players guide, obviously.
I have this thing about players guides...I only buy the ones I know I'll
use. Which only number the RPG's I have. So it's okay, I only "cheat"
on some games. I don't even use them all the time. .hack//Infection is
cool, but there aren't enough save points. YOu can only save at the desktop
or in Mac Anu, not in the field or dungeons. That means when you die,
you automatically lose all that info ...I've died twice already, and had
to start over from places I didn't really want to...but oh well. I guess
I'll get used to it. Final Fantasy X rocks though. So cool...even though
I was going to finish VII before I bought a new one. Now all I need is
VIII and then I'll have all the ones I want...minus maybe X-2 and XI.
But I'm gonna get XI for the PC, not PS2. I think...Justene is now obsessed
with Kingdom Hearts, and Gotcha Force. Kingdom Hearts is cool, just wish
the controls weren't so weird. I hate having a separate jump button...let's
see. Tomorrow it's off to the ice rink, with Maria and Lauren, Justene's
friend. Crap! I have to fill out those forms for Quest, this program I'm
doing instead of P.E. next year at Lincoln. There was archery yesterday...and
DDR today...and ice skating tomorrow. Not that bad. I'm supposed to fill
one out for every freakin' activity I do, but since I do swim every morning,
I don't think I have to fill one out every day. That would suck if I did.
And waste a lot of paper.

May 30, 2004
Ah, three day weekends are such fun. Watching The Return of the King is fun as well. Especially with Maria. Of course, I had to keep my comments to a minimum, but I didn't mind. I had fun anyway. Of course, that made Morgan jealous. Watching RotK, I mean. Then, I showed Maria this site, Figwit Lives. Then, under the links section, we found this site. Lord of the Peeps. The person who made it obviously has WAY to much time on their hands. But it's hilarious nonetheless. *sigh* Yeah. I was gonna say something else, but I don't remember now. Only 7 more days of school left!

May 16, 2004
So, a whole month has gone by, and only 2 and a half weeks
til the end of the school year. My ears are pierced, and I had to dissect
a frog last week. It stank SO bad...we had to peel the skin off of it,
chip away the bone covering its skull, then cut open its middle and take
out its innards, still intact. THEN we had to cut open its stomach, to
see if anything's inside, and cut open the heart, to examine it. And I
had these clear gloves, so everytime I would go to pick up the frog, my
partner, Becky, would freak. On Thursday there was a band performance,
and I had a solo in our jazz piece. I was so nervous my stomach hurt,
a lot. I started okay, but then my arm began shaking. I got through it
though, and everybody thought it was great. Then we had to assemblies
on Friday, one for half the seventh graders and eight graders, and the
other for the second half of the seventh graders and the sixth graders,
who WALKED over to our school. Must of taken them a half hour. My sis
rode the bus though, cuz she in Band 2. I had a babysitting job last night.
It was originally from 6 to 9, but the little girl, Anara, her mother
was running a little bit late with this school thing. So I had her from
5:30 to 10:30. I didn't mind. Anara's 5, but she's Russian, and the language
barrier has delayed her learning a little bit. She's very energetic...I
actually got her to sit still to watch a little more than half of Shrek.
She kept asking who the guy with the ears was, and she'd grab two locks
of her hair and raise them to be like Shrek's ears. And the princess.
Anara has absolutely no patience though. I don't either, but somehow I
managed to retain some of it. I got 20 bucks, which I'm happy with. Now,
to go to Powell's and Barnes and Nobles for more manga...

I'm going to the Sakuracon tomorrow! I'm only going for the day, but at least I'm going. My little sister gets to come along too though. That's gonna suck. Maria's already there, along with Beckey and Santa and Katy and some 9th graders I don't know. They left this morning. Grr...there was a fuse box open at school a couple days ago. In the hall, no less. I was going to flip a switch, but the bell rang and I had to get to class. Maria was actually going to close it, but Alex and Madison stopped her. She couldn't believe that I wanted to mess with it. I have to come up with a piano solo for this piece our Jazz/Rock Band is playing...Mr. Delph keeps trying to get me to do a solo, but I don't want to. Then, he has to go find a song that has a solo IN it...and it's 21 measures long. *sigh* There was something else...I don't remember now. I get a 3 hour car drive with my sister tomorrow...just kill me now and get it over with. Good thing my parents aren't making me keep track of her at the convention. I think I'd go insane. I mean, even more insane than I already am. With her constantly asking questions, bugging me about who that person is and what this is about...and following me around...her very presence annoys me, in general. Oh well. Maria'll be there. She's my savior.

April 3, 2004
2 whole weeks. I am such a lazy bum. Well...the first week I had an excuse, as I went to the beach without a computer and I was SO bored...then we went to our cousins' house in Tacoma and I got my birthday present and two manga. Final Fantasy Tactics Advance! FunFunFunFunFun...yeah. This is the first Saturday in what seems like forever that I don't have a basketball game. My sis is at a sleepover, so last night I watched Willow with my parents. It was hilarious! Especially the two brownie's that follow Willow around. There are some disgusting parts in it, but I just looked away. *shudder* Anyway...Thursday, my parents took me out to lunch at Burgerville's. It was really good! I got back late to class though. I don't care, mlipson's class is boring. *sigh* We're going to be reading To Kill A Mockingbird soon, and so we had to watch this movie about The Great Depression and blacks and lynchings and hoboes and yeah. It was completely pointless, and there was really bad singing near the end. *shudder* Even I can sing better than that. But who cares.
Quote of the day: You are not in command here, shor-TY! I am!
March 20, 2004
Long time no see. Watched a really dumb movie yesterday, Cheaper by the Dozen. *shudder* My parents dragged me to it. If I had known, I wouldn't have gone. No basketball tournament this weekend, cuz our coach couldn't get it together. Oh well. No school next week! We're going to the beach, and if my parents let me, I'm going to Beckey's sleepover. *sigh* Bought Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles last weekend, and now my dad wants to learn how to play. We've managed to borrow two other GBA's so that our whole family can play. Then again, maybe not...considering my mom's attitude towards games. Anyway...nothing more to say. Oh, wait. On Tuesday and Thursday last week, our school's band, choir, and jazz/rock band went touring to different elementary schools. It was a blast, but on Thursday, when we got luxury busses, Beckey couldn't even wait until we left the school to start something. J.J. poured some water on her, and she got SERIOUSLY pissed. She poured a WHOLE water bottle on him, and he got soaking wet. It was hilarious, but me and Maria just sat in our seat like nothing was going on at all. Then the special ed teacher had to come back, and Mr. Delph the band teacher as well...*shakes head* There. I'm done now.
Quote of the day: If life gives you lemons, make lemonade.
March 7, 2004
We lost our basketball game yesterday. We could have won, but no...my sis had a birthday party at an Aquatic Center and I took Morgan along so I wouldn't be bored. The wave pool was hilarious. I saw this guy, and he looked exactly like Nanba Minami! But Morgan's not into anime and stuff like that, so I didn't mention it. *sigh* I hate Othello. It's so boring. We have to translate different passages from the book into 'real' English, and it's so annoying...I have a book that has the play in ordinary English, so it's kinda easy...but I haven't really been using the book, only for the really messed up lines. But this play, it's really sick. And twisted. And has references to necrophilia in it. *shudder* Anyway...only two weeks till Spring Break! Two LONG weeks...

It's leap day! Umm...yeah. See the lovely layout? I made it myself. p|-|34r my |\/|4|) skills. Not much else to say...had to make a comic about sponges for science class. Talk about boring and almost not possible. I think I managed to make mine relatively funny. *sigh*
Quote of the day: I don't like this guy. He reads minds.

*nods head to music* I've finally started reading Hanakimi, and I love it! Mizuki looks a lot like Masao from Mars though...the style of drawing is so similar. In some ways though, Mars is better, cuz there's no chibi scenes. Not that chibi scenes are bad, but if used in excess...like in Kare Kano...they get annoying. But Hanakimi is great! Except for the fact that my computer can only take so much, and then stops showing the pictures...and then I have to restart the computer, cuz I don't know what else to do. Well, I could open all the files in PSP...but then that would freeze. *sigh* Oh well. One can only do so much...

I found this picture on my computer yesterday, and I almost fell off my chair laughing. Not that the picture is funny, but it just made me laugh. I'm a HieixKurama fan, and proud of it. They're such a cute couple! Well, maybe they don't qualify for cute...*dodges fangirls* Gomen nasai! But it's true! Nevermind...I'm re-reading the LOTR trilogy, and it's amazing how much stuff they left out and changed. Some of the lines I'm reading in the first book don't show up until the second and even third movie. And this is interesting. Turns out that Andúril, Aragon's sword, was reforged before the Company ever left Rivendell, and not in the third movie at Arwen's behest. It's interesting comparing the books to the movie, and I've forgotten quite a lot since I last read them in 7th grade. This is actually only my second time reading the trilogy, and I'm understanding it a lot better. Pippin's song is in here! It's actually only part of a song, but it's cool. I was reading, and all of a sudden the song just started playing in my head and I was like, waitaminute, that's Pippen's song! So yeah, I'm proud of myself. *sigh* I'm bored. I have all my homework done, and nothing to do. Actually, that's not true, I just don't feel like doing anything. Ash nazg durbatulûk, ash nazg gimbatul, asn nazg thrakatulûk agh burzum-ishi krimpatul. *grins* Try and figure out what that means.

Hmm...somebody asked me yet AGAIN about my duct tape bracelet the other day...so I guess I'll write how it started. One day, in 7th grade, Jordann was bored in Science class. She had all her work done, with plenty of time left before the next period. She went to go sit on one of the counters and talk to her friend. She noticed one of those electrical outlets hanging down, with a strip of duct tape on it. She tore the duct tape off, and thought that it would make a good bracelet. After winding around her wrist, she discovered that hey, it fit! And when that bracelet wore out, she made a new one using her own roll of duct tape and some scissors. Everyone happy now? Good. Hmmm...I'm on a Gaia high right now, but I'm gonna go see if mIRC is back up...the server I usually connect to was down...k'so.

Happy belated birthday to me. I'm now 14 years old... and I have Tony Hawk's Underground for the GCN! Plus lots of other cool stuff. I don't really feel 14, but nobody ever really feels a year older on their birthday. Except for adults, who feel practically everyday. There isn't much to write about at the moment...the 3rd quarter is starting tomorrow at school. No more P.E.! I hate P.E. *shivers* Umm...yeah.

January 18, 2004
I am so pissed right now. I finally started playing my FFVII game and what does it go and do? When I made a mistake and decided to restart the game, my save file was gone. All my progress, GONE!!! VANISHED!!! I got to the part where Rufus takes over Shinra and you get to control Aeris...that took me about 3 hours! Now I'll have to start over...unless the game decides to be nice and tomorrow, when I start up my PSone, my save file will be there. Which is highly unlikely. So...back to being depressed. No school tomorrow, cuz it's MLK day...and no school Friday either, cuz it's the end of the quarter...and my birthday is this Saturday. Maria, Morgan and I are going to see ROTK on either Thursday or Friday for my birthday. On Saturday I have a basketball game...and I wanna go see the Harlem Globetrotters. But I probably won't. And...yeah. On Gaia, Maria is starting a mini shop thingy, and I'm gonna host the files here. I don't use even half the space anyway, so it's okay. Hmmm...what should I do with all this space? I know! I'll let it sit and rot for the rest of its life. That sounds like a good idea. *is bored* Back to FFVII. I love Sephy, mostly because I was introduced to him through fanfics. Everything I know, I learned from fanfics, basically. Oh well. Sephy rules! And I'm a fan of AerisxSeph too. But Vinnie is all mine. No he's not! I mean he's my bishie, Cali. Jeez. Why don't you go visit him in his coffin... And leave you alone with Tercero and that Godsdamned dragon? I don't think so. I'm gonna stay right here... You drive me insane. You're insane because of your own damn self, *censored*. Grr...anyway, this pic and this pic explain a lot, don't you think? MUAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA...I'm done now.
Quote of the day (or rather, part of a song): if you are near to the dark

January 9, 2004
NO SCHOOL! We haven't had school since Monday, so it's literally
a six-day weekend. Maria came over yesterday, and we had fun. Lauren,
Justene's friend, came over too. She had to spend the night because her
parents didn't show up to take her home. Yeah...Gaia
is sw33t. Even though I only have peasant clothes...and everybody else
looks so cool...I will fly on evil wings! *cough* That was random. Actually,
that's what I get for playing the hated Kirby Air Ride with my sis yesterday.
I hate that game! But I had to play or be bored, so I played. It was,
do I dare say it...nah. It wasn't all that fun, but it was okay. lalalalalalala
Quote of the day: You must ph34r everything and everyone! Who cares if people think you are crazy!?!
January 6, 2004
Well, it's 2004 finally. Happy New Year and all that crap.
No school today because of a snow storm. But the snow was too powdery
to pack into snowballs. So that sucked. I had to clean all day today.
Taking down X-mas. I was gonna have Maria over, but my mom couldn't drive
because we couldn't find the chains, and Maria's parents wouldn't drive
her either. They're saying that tomorrow we won't have school either.
Oh joy. I changed the layout, simply because I didn't like the layout
of the other one. It was pissing me off. So back to the standard blog
layout. Thank the gods. My computer is fixed, thanks to one of my dad's
coworkers. I've copied all the files on to the main computer, which is
going to become my computer soon. I'll have a ton of more memory, etc.
But first, I have to get rid of all the crap that's been accumulated on
it over time. All the programs we don't use anymore, my dad's games, etc.
FunFun. Let's see...I got an electric guitar for X-mas, GCN and GBA games,
clothes, jewelry, books, a 2004 calendar (not anime, damn), umm...and
some other stuff. Oh yeah, a FBI t-shirt. My aunt lives in Washington,
D.C., so she got me, my sis, and Kyle all FBI t-shirts. And all day Christmas
my cousin Brian kept saying that I wasn't in the FBI and I just said whatever.
It was kinda funny though. I finally played on NWN today, and revived
my long-lost character, a 9 level (I think) rouge by the name of Meriam.
She's so cool, she's a freakin halfling. But she DOES NOT have hairy feet.
That's only in J.R.R. Tolkien's books. She kicks ass, but I get encumbered
a lot because she can only carry 92 pounds or so. I'm constantly using
my Stone of Recall to get sell/get rid of stuff. The average weight I
carry is about 85 pounds. Maybe a little more. Oh well. Me and Morgan
have so much fun telling each other about how our character would beat
the other in a battle. It's really hilarious.
Quote of the day: ...and a Japanese transistor radio.
December 23, 2003
1 more day till X-mas!!! *jumps up and down* I wrapped everybody's
present in duct tape and LOTS of boxes...MUAHAHAHAHAHA...yeah. I'm obsessed
with duct tape. I wear a duct tape bracelet that I have to remake about
every month. Yeah...I'm gonna have to be extra careful though, so I don't
die again. I've already died multiple times, and it's not fun, let me
tell you. So much goddamn paperwork...*shudder* My damn computer is STILL
not fixed...and my patience, which is literally non-existant, is just
about gone. I WANT MY COMP NOW!!! *deep breath* I wanna see ROTK again!
I saw it on Sunday, and it's SO good. Wait...did I already say that? Oh
well. The ending kinda sucked though...it doesn't say what happened to
Gimli and Legolas!!! I want to kill the director! And when Frodo, Sam,
Merry and Pippen go back to the Shire, there is no part about how Saruman
took it over and how Sam saved it with the soil he was given from Galadriel
and I'm rambling. Anyway, it was an AWSOME movie, and I want to see it
again! Okay, enough of that. Actually, there isn't much else to say...
Quote of the day: Because we care! *gag*
December 20, 2003
Okay, just put up a winter layout. Finally. I'm too lazy to make my own, plus I have no time, so I downloaded this one. Isn't it cute? HEHEHEHEHE So yeah.
Quote of the day: No quote. Stupid chickens.
December 19, 2003
I set the fire alarm off yesterday at school. I was cooking candy and the candy had to reach 310°, see, and it was at like, 280°, with about 5 min left of class, and it was bubbling and steaming. But the steam was actually smoke. Then the fire alarm goes off, and Ms. Monroe, our teacher, says, "It's burning!" and grabs the pot and empties it in the sink. She told everybody to go outside, like you're supposed to in a fire drill. As we're going outside everyone's like, "Jordann set the fire alarm off!" and "Jordann tried to burn down the school!" etc. And I was all "Yes! I set the fire alarm off!" etc. while jumping up and down. My cousin Kyle said, "Way to go Jordann!" I hear about a million different versions of how I set the fire alarm off too. So, this alarm went off about 5 min before the end of 1st period. Then, later that day, about 5 min before the end of 4th period, the fire alarm goes off again. I said, "I swear, it wasn't me!" Kyle was like, "You know you set it off, Jordann." and I told him, ""Yes Kyle, of COURSE I did it." I now have my claim to fame. And it was hilarious too. I'll never forget it. LESS THAN A WEEK TILL X-MAS!!! Can you tell I'm excited? I'm going to see the Nutcracker tonight, the X-mas boats tomorrow night and, drumroll please, Return of the King on Sunday!!! Aren't I lucky. Morgan's going with me. I can't wait. I think I'll go even more crazy waiting...if that's even possible, with the state of insanity I'm in.
Quote of the day: Crazy doesn't even begin to describe it.
December 13, 2003
Only 11 more day's till Christmas!!! Tommorow's Maria's birthday
AND the 2nd year anniversary of my grandma's death. *sniff* Anyway, life
has been really busy. I have yet AGAIN another basketball tournament on
Saturday, I have to go X-mas shopping, we have to get our tree and I have
a dance performance on Sunday. ROTK comes out on Wednesday!!! I'm going
to see it with Morgan on the 21st. YAY!!! I've asked what she wants for
x-mas, but she wont tell me. She said to surprise her, so that's what
I'm gonna do. HEHEHEHEHEHEHE I've got an okay version of my wishlist...even
though it's not complete. Now my dad wants the top 10 things on that X-mas
list. I'll put up the wishlist here after x-mas. I'll have plenty of time
then. Just one more week of school. I gonna have about 3 tests, make that
4, but that's okay. There's only one that I'm really worried about, and
that's the Spanish grammar one. AHHHHHHHH!!! How lucky am I. So...where
to find Care Bear arm warmers...where...probably Hot Topic. If they don't
have Care Bears, then Hello Kitty. Or maybe a plushie...for Felicia. For
Maria, Alanna, the First Adventure. Morgan wants me to surprise
her...hmm...I know, a SWEATSHIRT!!! *rofl* Sorry, it's a joke of ours.
She almost never wears a jacket or anything around school, so she's always
freezing, and I tease her that I'm going to get her a sweatshirt for x-mas.
So I don't know what to get her. Ah, to h3ll with it. I'll figure something
out. Like I always do. I don't wanna do my homework!!! I hate homework.
I hate school. I hate everything. Life sucks. Bleh.
Quote of the day: We're all gonna die.
November 30, 2003
I'm currently downloading any anime mp3 I can get my hands
(mouse) on. Oh, and DDR mp3s. HEHEHEHEHEHE Umm...Animal Crossing rocks!
And so does this
forum. They got all sorts of stuff, like patterns, town tunes, and universal
codes. Anyway...I started my wish list. We went to my cousin's house for
Thanksgiving, so I gave my partial list to my aunt. My cousin Nick looked
at it, and, well...lets just say he wasn't too thrilled. He didn't recognize
about half the stuff on it, so he...ya know. But what's interesting is
that the twins knew what I was talking about. Namely Yu Yu Hakusho. My
zine's coming along pretty well, but this kid in my class wants me to
write a column for his zine. I told him I would, but so far I haven't.
Oh well. My NWN character is suffering greatly. I can't get passed this
one spot, and it's all because I'm a damned halfling. Stupid game. So,
the computer I'm using right now to type this is going to become mine
after X-mas, and my dad's going to get a new one. The hd from my old computer
is okay, the data justs needs to be transferred over to this computer.
But my dad wants to take the WHOLE old computer to work so this guy can
see if he can fix it, and THEN bring it home to transfer the data. That
means I have to wait even LONGER...Dad no baka. Shimatta! Baka...d13!!!
I have 3 solid weeks of school before winter break. NOOOOOO!!!! Add to
that two dance recitals, a basketball tournament, a piano recital, and
the stuff you do to get ready for X-mas...I'm doomed! Grrrr...good thing
I love X-mas and winter so much. I can't wait. It used to snow in the
winter at my house. Now it doesn't. But this year might be different It's
already snowed here, but it only stuck at school. We weren't allowed to
go outside, but I did anyway between classes. It was SO fun! I'm hoping
beyond hope that we'll get snow at our house this year. Well, last year
there was a freak snowstorm in January, so we had snow then, but I want
snow near Christmas time. Then it would be just like old times. Ahh, the
nostalgia...
Quote of the day: A life? Cool! Where can I download one of those at?
November 16, 03
A CHRISTMAS LIST!! NO!!!!!!! You don't know what you're asking
of me. Put anything and everything you want on it, they say. You want
a book? Sure. I'll give you everything I want. If you're willing to give
me time to make one. NOT!! Stupid homework. I have most of it done, cept
for the zine and this math thing...and studying for a spanish test...and
calling Maria...yeah. Morgan and I are going to see Pirates of the Caribbean
today. Funfun.
LATER
Called Maria. Took an hour to get the homework done. Oh well. My computers is STILL broke, and it's making my life miserable. My parents think I'm depressed, which in a way I am, and I'm becoming even more of a pessimist then before. My life sucks. School, home, everything. It's driving me even more insane. I said bye to my parents last night, instead of goodnight. Funny, how things turn out sometime, don't you think?
Quote of the day: My life's a dream, and I can't wake up.
November 2, 03
Here are my excuses for the last, oh, 2 weeks. I was sick
the whole week of the 20th, and only went to school Wednesday. Turns out
I had a viral infection. Spent Thursday in the hospital, running tests.
My block class wrote me get well notes. It made me feel so luved...yeah.
Last week was spent catching up in class. I haven't gone to Jazz/Rock
Band in two weeks, and haven't practice piano either. Oh well. I was an
ARMY person for Halloween, with face paint too. Dog tags, boots, I had
it all, thanks to my dad. But Morgan had the best outfit ever.
It was a dress, split half-and-half. Devil and angel. She had a headband
with 1 horn and 1 mini-halo. And 1 demon wing with 1 angel too. Her mom
made it. IT WAS THE BOMB! Yeah. She didn't go trick-or-treating though,
cuz she was chicken. Actually, she said it would be too cold for her.
My sis and I went though, and it wasn't as cold as I thought it would
be. I got a pretty good haul. Umm...let's see. Yesterday I went to the
mall. Got a new CD, The All-American Rejects, 3 shirts and 2 pairs of
jeans. YAY! On another note, my yearbook teacher Mr. Gilley, assigned
this project. We have to create a 20 page 'zine, following this set of
rules he gave us. I'm doing an anime/manga 'zine. I was going to do Neverwinter
NIghts, but I decided that anime and manga would be easier. It's not.
Oh well. OMG! I almost forgot. My second computer died. My dad got power
back to it, but for some reason the hd won't show. This sucks because
my extensive Favorites list is on that comp and all the fonts I've downloaded
AND other really important stuff. To me, that is. My dad couldn't care
less about it, but he said he's going to try to get some of it back at
least. Then there is the question of a new computer. If we got a new computer,
then I'd get the one I'm on now, which would be cool, but yeah. I think
that's enough rambling for now.
Quote of the day: Hiei: How does it feel to be in a constant haze of stupidity?
October 16, 03
Fell asleep in class yesterday. It was the last class of the day, and I was dead tired. Last 5-10 minutes of class too. Oh well. Serves them right, for giving me so much homework. I barely had any tonight though. Strange...I'm in our school's jazz/rock band, and it's pretty cool. I have to do a lot of sight reading though, which isn't all that easy. My sis' birthday is this weekend, and we're going to Ultrazone Lazertag this weekend with a bunch of her friends to celebrate. I get to bring a friend too, so Morgan is coming over to keep me sane. Yay. I'm going to show her DDR, and see if she's any good at it. So far, only one of my friends is good at it, and nobody in my family so far is good at it either, except for my sis who is okay. I'm not the best, but I'm pretty good. Anyway...yeah. Umm...nothing much going on tomorrow. We're probably going to go out to dinner for my sister's birthday... most likely Chinese food. Yum. Okay. I'm just rambling now. I need to stop, before i go even more crazy...
Quote of the day: Don't annoy the crazy people.
October 11, 03
Okay...where to start. My dad got my CD fixed. YAY! But I'm
missing a TON of pictures that I swear I copied onto it. Oh well.
I guess I'll just have to get them again. They were Rurouni Kenshin pics,
from Destiny's Embrace. New layout, as you can see. It took me like, forever
to fix it so all of my crap got moved from v.1 to v.2. Oh, and I took
a screencap of v.1 Firestarter, so I can look back and see which layouts
I've used already. And so I can look at it. That layout was sw3333333333t.
We had Thursday and Friday off from school. And guess what I did. I was
at school, painting my sisters classroom. How lame is that? From 7 in
the morning to 4 in the afternoon, no less. I have to study for this Spanish
test and do a final copy of my periodic table of cars. FunFun. *sigh*
Quote of the day: *conversation*
Me: That's nice.
Person: No, it's not.
Me: It's called sarcasm.
Person: Oh. I knew that.
Me: Sure you did.
October 5, 03
Whoa! Where did the time go?! Anyway, I can't change the layout just yet, cuz my CD with all of my downloaded layouts on it is messed up. My dad says there isn't much chance that he'll be able to fix it, and that pisses me off. Damn computer! Anyway, I was sick this week. It was horrible. But I missed Ultimate Frisbee in P.E. And yesterday I went to the mall (With my parents and little sis, who annoys the crap out of me). I got umm...5 shirts, 1 sweater, and a pair of kick @$$ overalls. They're SO cool. HEHEHEHEHEHEHEHE
Quote of the day: Just keep swimming, just keep swimming, just keep swimming, swimming, swimming.
September 21, 03
I'm such a effing loser. I haven't updated for like, a week. How lame is that? I'm going to change my layout soon. I just don't know when. Last Wednesday I got to jump off a cliff...kinda. It was sweeeeeeeeeet. Yesterday I went over to Morgan's house for a sleepover. We watched The Two Towers. I LOVED it! Aragon is damn sexy and Legolas is a damn hottie. There's a difference. Or, Sexy #1 and Sexy #2 for short. HEHEHEHEHEHE My favorite shot is Legolas using a shield to "surf" down the stairs while shooting an arrow. Mine...anyway. I changed my desktop again. I'm constantly changing it. And the icons aren't that ugly purple color. Really.
Quote of the day: 152 rules for being an evil overlord...
September 13, 03
OMG! I was SO busy this week. Monday, after school, I had
tap. We have a new teacher, and she's creepy. On Tuesday, I had ballet
and jazz, one right after the other. An hour of both. On Wednesday, I
didn't have anything. It was my sis's back-to-school night, so I stayed
home with my sis. I didn't have a lot of homework, so I got on IRC to
download some files. I downloaded some of Mononoke Hime, KKJ, and Fruits
Basket. I think. The funny thing is, I never read any of it. I just download
it. I'm gonna read it...I just don't know when. Thursday I had Troupe
and Polonesian. Troupe was 1 hr. and a half, Polonesian was 1 hr. That
makes 2 hrs. and a half!!! OMG! Friday, yesterday, I had piano.
I have absolutely no life. Today I have to help scrape our house. You
know, get all the old paint off...yeah. I'm working on a yearbook cover
for my class. When I finish it, I'll post it here. I think it looks really
cool, if I say so myself. Oh, and you can see my current desktop now...if
you want.
Quote of the day: I knew that. Seriously, I did.
September 7, 03
Let's see...Maria and me went to see Finding Nemo again yesterday, and she slept over at my house. Today we went to see Sinbad at McMenamins. Sinbad was okay, but Finding Nemo was HILARIOUS!!! I love that movie. It's like the best Disney movie ever. Not much else to say...I think my writing classes with mlipson are going to be my favorite. He's so funny.
Quote of the day: Mr. Watch says...it's time to shut up.
September 3, 03
Today was a (relatively) boring first day of school. Since
we're 8th graders, we get our own lockers. But the first locker I was
assigned wouldn't open! And it was next to my friend Becky, too. So I
was assigned another locker, number 29. It works. The locker combo has
a nine in all three numbers. I like the number nine, so it'll be easy
to remember my combo. Lets see...Felicia streaked her hair pink, and I
made a new friend. Her name's Jessica, and she's in my P.E. class. We're
the only girls in the whole class. FunFun. Made some changes to the site.
Content will come soon, hopefully. I know, I'm lazy...
Quote of the day: Treat others the way you want to be treated. (whoever coined that should be shot, in my opinion)
September 2, 03
School starts tomorrow. I'm gonna die. Anyway...this past
weekend I went to the beach AGAIN...my cousin Stephanie and her parents
JoAnn and Marty came down on Saturday. Her brother Nicholas didn't come
down cuz he was not feeling good and he has a job. Nick is a junior in
High school and Steph is a freshman. We rented Princess Mononoke. I love
it! I am SO gonna buy it when I get the chance. It was rated PG-13, and
my sis is 11 so...lets just say my mom wasn't too thrilled. After watching
it, I don't think it deserves the rating PG-13 at all. And of course,
when I asked my parents if we could buy it, my mom immediately said no.
I'll just probably have to ask Aunt JoAnn and them for it for X-mas. HEHEHEHEHEHEHEHE
Later...
I'm reading the Mars manga, but the library only has 8 books out of like, 15! And my mom's being a butt and not letting me buy the series...I'm currently, very slowly, almost lethargically, accumulating the CCS series and Digimon series. And at 10 bucks a book, they're EXPENSIVE!!! I seriously need to find a place where I can buy them used. Like, now. Because I think I'll die if I don't read the whole series. I don't think my mom has ever been obsessed with anything besides work. I get obsessed with things all the time. Like books. Now, I don't own every book I've read, but some of them are just SO good I HAVE to buy them. Hence my frustration. Speaking of which, I've finally become an adult in the Ocarina of Time. It took me forever! (I haven't touched the game for about a year or so.) Anyway...I probably should make a wish-list...*sighs* More work.
Quote of the day: Run like your life depended on it. Your life does depend on it, so RUN!

Went to my friend Morgan's house today and watched The Fellowship
of the Ring for the first time. I LOVE that movie! I wanna see The Two
Towers now. It just came out today on DVD. I can't wait! HEHEHEHEHEHE
Tomorrow I have to go with my mom to my school to do fall packets...*sigh*
Oh, and there won't be much on this site until I get off my butt again.
So don't kill me. *nervous laughter*
Quote of the day: No quote. Whatever...
August 25, 03
Yeah, yeah, I suck, I know. I went to the beach for a week
so I had absolutely NO internet acess...We went bikeriding almost everyday
and watched people's kites. And played videogames. I've decided to turn
my diaryland thingy into an Animal Crossing blog. I have to characters,
Niaa and Aaron, and I think it would be fun. Now that I've finally got
off my lazy butt and made this site, I don't really have a use for it.
I'm so smart. *pats self on back* yay...
