Finals are done! |

Wow its great to be home. Haven't updated this site for a while, so much damn work at the end of
of this semester. Anyway, I'm all done! Only one semester left before I get my masters. I have to take
4 classes this Spring, but it shouldn't be nearly as much trouble as this semester. I managed to get by
just fine once I dropped that MRI class. This past week I had 2 finals and a take home final to finish.
The worst part of it was Monday though, since it was my birthday, and no one could party because it was finals
week! Every year that happens, and it sucks each time just as much. Next year will be better though.
I'm looking forward to these next few weeks, the holidays are always fun, and New Year's will be
ridonculous as usual. My brothers and I have a lot of shopping to do this weekend, getting in and out of the
Galleria is gonna be crazy. Ok thats it for now.
Another week is over |

This week was pretty wild, first we have 80 degree weather in November, and then it rains
for two days. Halloween was crazy too, I went down to Fells Point with Brendan and some friends
to party with the rest of Baltimore. And then we got separated and he thought I was going to die in
the ghetto... haha. But thats a story for another time. I'm so tired right now after all the work I did
last night for Microfab and Optoelectronics lab. But my circuit works! So its all good. I think I'll watch ER,
have a beer, and pass out. That sounds like a plan.
Cowboys vs. Bucs tomorrow |

So the big game is tomorrow, Dallas vs. Tampa Bay. I guess the world will see whether the cowboys have really
improved from last year. I think they definitely are a lot better team on both sides of the ball, but this
will be a big test for them. If we win tomorrow the rest of the NFC East is in real trouble!
Aside from enjoying the NFL season so far, the last couple weeks have been crazy. I had 2 job interviews last week,
midterms, and a big optoelectronics circuit demonstration. I managed to get through it all though, so this weekend
I'm enjoying myself since there isn't much work to take care of.
Back to the grind |

So much for the long weekend, it went by real fast. I've got a lot going on with class, midterms, and
interviews in the next couple weeks, but hopefully things will quiet down by the time November gets here.
Just a random comment, anyone else see something wrong with 31 year old Pedro Martinez throwing 72 year old
bench coach Don Zimmer to the ground?? I'm not a yankees or a red sox fan, but theres something seriously wrong
with a pitcher who decides to hit batters and fight with guys twice his age when he starts losing a big game.
Grow up Pedro.
Fall Break! |

Wow so much went on this past week. The Spring Fair retreat was awesome, we did some paintballing during
the day on Saturday and then had a great time at Camp Letts. Soo damn cold outside though overnight, I'm glad I brought
that blanket with me. This week I had a lot of homework and things to take care of with signing up for interviews through
the career center. I managed to get interviews with Medtronic and Northrup Grumman so far, maybe more will tell
me on Monday. Spring Fair update is coming soon, with retreat pictures!
Damn its cold out |

Kinda crazy what a difference a couple days can make. Earlier this week it was 80, and now its 45
outside. We might even have a frost tonight if the temperature drops much more. Anyway,
these past couple weeks have been busy, so much work to do for my classes. At least I'm not behind or
anything... yet. Spring Fair is starting up again, our retreat is this weekend.
That's going to be a rockin' good time as always. We're going to go paintballing and
then some other crazy stuff will probably happen. So hopefully I can get a lot of homework done
before Saturday morning. Cocktail party tomorrow! later
Isabel is gone, along with the weekend |

So the hurricane came through early Friday morning, it was kinda crazy for a little while. I was out at
CVP with some people and the rain and wind was fun to be out in. It didn't get dangerous or anything around
Hopkins, although there was crazy flooding down near Fells Point and the Inner Harbor. Didn't do much this
weekend but work and try to get rid of a cold. I got a lot done at least, including fixing up my resume and
cover letters to send out for the job search. Anyway, thats all for now.
It's raining in Baltimore |

Haven't been doing much lately except for settling into classes and getting down to work.
I'm taking 3 lab courses this semester so there's going to be a lot of work, but hopefully not
many all nighters doing homework and preparing for midterms. Last night was the Foam Party over at
SAE, so I went to that and had some fun with Brendan and his crew. When I get a chance I'm going to fix
up the rest of the pages on this site. And now back to my Basic Communications hw. bleh
Classes begin |

So the first day of classes has passed, I actually think I have a good handle on what I'm going to be
taking this semester. I think its going to be Advanced Topics in Microfabrication, Optical Communications,
Optoelectronics Lab, and Basic Communications. Then I have one decision to make, between an MRI class and Robots,
Sensors, and Actuators. Sounds like a lot doesn't it. I will probably regret taking 5 graduate classes at once, but
I don't really have a choice, heh. One good thing has come out of this madness though, I don't have Friday classes!!!
That hasn't happened since fall of Junior year I think. So I will definitely enjoy that as much as possible. I'm going to
be working on the site the next few days when I can to try to clean up the code.
Big site update |

Today was a really slow day, nothing much going on so I went to work on this site for a
while. I guess I'm getting pretty good at html since I got these pages done in a few hours instead
of a few days. Anyway, enjoy! There's new pictures and a page for my analog integrated circuits
design project. I figured I should at least show that one off since we stayed up the 36 hours before
it was due to get it working.
Back to school, back to school |

As the topic says, I'm back at school now, well since Friday. I managed to get everything in
order that night, so I'm ready to register for classes on Tuesday. Last night was great,
I went to DC with the guys for the night to celebrate a bunch of birthday's.
We went out to dinner at Bertucci's and then to a bar called Front Page. It was pretty chill
and a wedding party was going on there, so there were drunken people everywhere.
We had a blast there and then a bunch of us came back to bmore.
Two days of work left |

Two more days... hopefully I can stay awake today, being out until 4:30 am on a saturday night kinda messes with your sleep. P&G's and McGillicuddy's were a lot of fun though, so it was worth it.
Why does it say paper jam when there is no paper jam? |
Posted on: Friday, August 22, 2003 by
Dan
Fridays take forever when theres nothing to do. My projects are all done, and I've been sitting around all day doing nothing. To make things worse, the network was down earlier too. I'll hold out until next Tuesday though, then it will be all over.
All of you who work have probably experienced what I like to call 'paper jam issues' with the local office printer. Today I felt like I was part of Office Space, the printer very much enjoyed telling me there was a paper jam when that wasn't true. It finally got fixed though when we realized the paper is fed in from the bottom... Real smart guys. Designing a printer so that you pull the bottom sheet of 200 out and expect it not to get wrinkled up.
In other news, Pat, Vic, and I finished up work on the retaining wall last night. It's just about done, and looks awesome. All thats left is some backfilling behind the stones and inside of them for added support.
Tonight should be great, Mad Hatter will be jumpin'.
You have the ring, and I see your schwarz is as big as mine!

Last full week of work, I'm almost done!! Today has been a slow day so far, filled with aimlessly surfing the web for amusing websites. I visited a few old favorites, if you haven't been to these sites you are missing out!
First, there is the classic Stickdeath.com
For some great stickdeath fight movies, go
here
Another great site is JoeCartoon.com
In other news, Pat and Vic and I laid down another 3 layers of stone last night for the retaining wall, its looking damn good. Another couple days and it should be finished.
Eventful last couple of days |

Crazy last couple of days here in Po-town. Power outages, poker night, a kegger, and a trip to the ER for good measure. Seeing Route 9 all dark on Thursday night was really weird, reminded me of st. nicholas since there's no street lights. ok enough of this, im going to get some food.
When will then be now? Soon... |

Finally! Some high pressure tag-team action is going to lay the smack down on that damn eastern trough. No more rain!!! Now maybe we can go out this weekend for once.
Why is it still raining outside? |

My summer co-op is just about over with, only about 2 weeks left. I've got a presentation this Thursday that I've been working on this morning so far. It will be great to get back to school and not have to get up at the ungodly hour of 6:30 am.
Stone wall |

Slow day today at work, but thats cool with me. If it doesn't rain later, Pat and Vic and I can get more stones down for Pat's retaining wall. It's looking good so far... nice and level thanks to the spatula, haha!
I found a comic page thats worth checking out.

Back from Lake George |

Work really sucks after waking up at 5:30 am to drive home from Lake George. It was worth it though, we had a great weekend of water skiing and hanging out by the docks at our motel. 10 dollar bucket o' becks!
Ali G pimps it, so can you |

I still can't get over Ali G and how he calls his girl 'me julie.' That movie was ridiculously funny. So if your reading this, go watch it. This past weekend was fun, went out to front street with some friends and a couple people I hadn't seen in a while. We encountered not one, but TWO bachelorette parties. So that was amusing seeing the bride-to-be writing messages on people's shirts. On a related note, according to vic im a playa.

So the weekend of Marano`que has come to an end, and I find myself here at work for another long week. Saturday was fantastic, especially the drunken pool games. I tried to pick what I thought were the best pictures from the party, theres a whole lot more of them. let me know what you think!

The resume page is all done! Such a pain to format that one... Once I find some pictures of my RC car project from last semester, I'll post all that info. This week has been going very slowly, lots of things going on at work. At least there's only 2 more days left until the weekend.
This looks much better now |

Well hey now, look at this! All I need is a banner for the top. Then I can get ready to post crazy pictures from Marano`que 2003. later
Welcome! |

Hey everyone, welcome to my site! I've been wanting to redesign the old one for a while now, since it was just a white background with text. For this one I tried to take cool elements I've seen before on other sites and see what I can do with them. Let me know what you think! I'll be adding more soon. mmmmmm, content...
