Welcome to the latest and soon to be greatest resource on the internet for Sacramento's single women! Watch as this page becomes a guide to the bars and clubs of Sacramento -- and more particularly, to where to find Sacramento's compelling, available, and straight men. LATE BREAKING NEWS JANUARY 2002: Phoebe and Wendy are both now with two of Sacramento's most compelling, (no-longer) available, straight men in the kinds of relationships that it gets really easy to believe never happen once you've been single too long. Dear PhoebeandWendy.net friends, this is good news. We can attest, truly, that good men DO really exist. Honest, faithful, fascinating, handsome, sexy, funny, charming, thoughtful, accomplished -- and yes, even emotionally accessible -- men, dear PhoebeandWendy.net friends, DO exist. The "bad" news is we didn't meet them at any of Sacramento's night spots. We visited, and recommend, Centro's, Limelight, True Love Coffeehouse, the Torch Club, Old Ironsides...(see "help... for now"). But Wendy's find was a neighbor from across the street, and Phoebe's was one of his best friends. And though early on these two men often accompanied us, as friends, to many of the places we visited while we were doing the research for this site (during the days we were still planning to really make this site into what we advertised) --- that isn't where and how we fell in love. The easy companionship and pleasures of friendship worked that magic. Life's wierd, dear friends. Magnificently strange and unpredictable. We've got no promises for what, if anything will happen to this site in the future, but to all those who have sent feedback prodding us to get it "up and going," we send apologies for not delivering the site we advertised and wish you the best of all things.
