First The Bad News The Greyhound Staduim Scheme has Collapsed due to high Development cost,the club have quoted figures in the region of £60 million to build a dual purpose facility.The Club and the council are saying that there is now a strong possibilty that the Team will never play in Merton again.

On the Transfer front Jason Euell Has left the club after 12 years he has joined Charton Athletic for £4.75 million.

The Dons in the meantime have signed Jermaine Darlington from QPR for £200,000 and David Conelley from Feyenoord on a free transfer.Darren Caskey has been reject buy the club.

Sorry for the lack of Updates but here goes,The following Players have been released by the club,Carl Leaburn and Jonathan Hunt.Mick Harford(Coach)had also left.On the ground issue Merton Council have announced that they are willing for the club to move to the Wimbledon Greyhound Stadium,a study is now being conducted.On the signing of New Players Darren Caskey from Reading looks set to join the Dons.

Stories in the press ie the Sun newspaper stated that the Dons where to merge with QPR,The chairman Charles Koppel advised the fans that though they had meet the QPR board this was not going to happen.On the pitch the Dons played their last game of the season against Norwich the score was 0-0.Looks like Neil Ardley and Jason Euell may have played there last game for the Dons.

Wimbledon 2 Wycombe Wanderers 2,Wycombe go through 8-7 on Penalties.To say I am bitter is an understatement.We was robbed as they say just like a kid thats been given a sweet by his mate just to have it nicked 5 seconds later.The Ref a certain Mr Wolstenholm was bad on Sat but totally out of his mind on Tuesday night.Will not go into the full story you can read it on SW19 basically i am pissed with the whole situation.

Wycombe Wanderers 2 Wimbledon 2,Dons totally dominated the first 45 mins and should have been safely through to the quarter finals.Goals from Mark Williams and Patrick Agyemang.Second half the Dons fell asleep conceeding two goals one of which was totally offside,but the ref being a total ass booked Jason Euell for protesting.

Notts County 0 Wimbledon 1,After 210 mins and 2 games postpond,10 men Dons finally ware down Notts County through a Trond Anderson Goal. A good result in that on 3 occasions this season we have beaten teams with 10 men.Its starting to remind me of the Wimbledon of the 1980s and Early 90s.With the Majority of the Squad Home Grown under 23 I think we may have a good season next year.Get your money out now Dons for the 1st Division Championship Season 2001/2001.Am I dreaming maybe but its good to have dreams.

Wimbledon 3 Preston North End 1,I cannot belive it we won at home Euell got 2 goals while Mark Williams got the other.After the game there was another demo with about 2000 fans taking part.

FA Cup 3rd Round Wimbledon 2 Notts County 2,Again the Dons take the lead through a Great Neil Ardley Goal,However Notts County forced the replay due to some sloppy Defending .Meanwhile approx 1500 Dons fans protested after the game re the proposed move to Milton Keynes.More Protests are planned for the future.

Wimbledon 1 Portsmouth 1,Again we still can not win at home. It was tough an enjoyable match with Portsmouth coming to win the game.Steve Claridge scored for Portsmouth first with a very well taken goal in the 40th min.However the Dons hit back in the 50min through Damian Francis.

Tranmere 0 Wimbledon 4,This result has done my head in Yes another away victory and with 10 men Rob Gier got sent off.The goal scores were Trond Anderson,Mark Williams and Jason Euell(2).If only we could do this at home promotion would be in our sights,come on sort it out.On the video page front hope fully i will be investing in some new technology next year so I can bring you those clips again.

Tor Pederson has left the club and retired through injury,Martin Andresson will also be leaving to rejoin his old club in Norway.This should lighten the wage bill by £15,000 a week.

This was a very good performance from a make shift Dons side with 3 Players making there First Team debut.We should of won this but poor shooting let Tranmere get away with a point .Patrick Agumang 19 years of age showed what an excellent prospect he will be.With the return of John Hartson,Kenny Cunningham ,Gareth Ainsworth,Micheal Hughes and Many More in the next month or so will give Burton a strong side,Fulham and Blackburm beware.

More talk of Thatcher going to Spurs for £5 Million,however sources close to the player are claiming that he will actually extend his contract for a further year with the Dons.To be honest the whole situation is confusing but what I can gather is that he has one year left ,the club do not want to lose him however do not want him to leave next season on a free transfer so if he does not sign he will be sold.

Roger Smith has been appointed as new acadamy director,also Steve Allen has a new assistant Physio John Clinkard from Oxford City. The club have also moved the club shop out of the jointly shared premises with Crystal Palace.The above are just more signs that Chairman Bjorn Gjelsten are running the club on a more professional basis.

The Bad news first,Neil Sullivan will be joining Spurs on the 1st July when his contract wthe the Dons finishes.He will be earning £24,000 a week.Neil has been with us for 16 years and has been a loyal servant,he was deeply upset at Southampton and I hope he returns to watch us with Chris Perry.I hoped and I think most Dons fans would agree that he had joined another club such as Arsenal.For those of you who don't know Spurs hate us they think that we are a shit club,however they have in their ranks 4 ex Wimbledon Players and would like to add Thatcher ,Euell,Hartson and Cort to their Squad.Prehaps they should rename themselves North Wimbledon and be done with it.

On a lighter note,it has been strongly reported that Nigel Winterburn will be returning to as from Arsenal as player coach.

Welcome to my new section,I will try and update you as to what is going.

As you may have heard the Dons 14 Years in the English Premiership ended on the 14th May 2000 with a 2-0 defeat at Southampton.The press as usual is try to sell the whole squad and banish as into the Conferance.

Currently out of contact GoalKeeper Neil Sullivan has had talks with Arsenal and Spurs.He will decide on his future when he come back from Holiday.

Bryn Halliwell Reserve Team GoalKeeper has been released on a Free Transfer to Scottish Second Division Club Clyde.

Stewart Castledine has also been given a Free Transfer ,as yet he has not Joined another Club.
