Some retired registered nurses, who were employed by the Department of Veterans Affairs, receive reduced pensions. This website provides information about the "grassroots" campaign to restore full annuities to these registered nurses.

A large coalition, including VA nurses, the general public, and many unions and organizations, has worked very hard to restore the promised pensions. Retired VA nurses live on significantly less money in their VA annuities than they had expected, and this reduction in pension income was not done to any other federal retiree.

This is a campaign for fair treatment and retirement parity, as well as insuring the best care for America's veterans when the government finally honors their committment to their VA nurses.
