The Misfits

Afraid of being laughed at.
Never let go of the fear.
Or dare to spoof
a single truth
So close where one might hear.

Dispicable and stupid.
Most hated in the room.
You eventually stop trying
when you speak
To spell your doom.

No one dances with the retard.
Or courts the critical snob.
Would you stick out
your weakened neck
To face the pissing mob?

My life has been a highschool dance.
Isolation brought me down.
I remember too well
my mother would tell
The way my eyes became brown.

Hate upon the Misfits
Spurns hatred and preserves it.
Hate taught me well,
can you still tell?
I thought that I deserved it.
don't drop out here
