Our Blues
i dive right in
to your sea of un-tranquility
to your ocean of eternal tides
because
i am cleansed
and scoured
to squeaking
in its ongoing process
of daily renewal
and constantly churning evolution.
and sometimes i feel as large
as all of the oceans
on all of the planets
in all of the solar systems
poured together into one
great big universal sea,
and wetter.
and sometimes i feel smaller
and less significant
than the tiniest micro-organism ever visible
to even the most powerfully
microscoped eyes.
so i just fly right off
and away
on the back of your gossamer
dragonfly wings of
aerodynamic design and
weightless construction
and go along for the ride.
i just lean right back
to enjoy the palatial view
from this outer space vantage point
of our now fused psyches
tapping these 22 toes in time
to the rhythm of the music
that's been composed
of our dark blues
and our violets.
