... the world of Japanese animation! Or, as it is simply refered to by others... anime. This wonderful universe brings animation out of the "cartoon" stage and into a real state of existence. Animes can bring forth emotions that are really and true: sorrow, sympathy, hurt, joy, humor, pain, pleasure, and a plethora of other emotions. Anime is not a "cartoon" in any respect. Anime is deep and thought provoking. It is righteous in its own sense. I don't hesitate to admit that there are those animes that are out there just to cater to the younger side of people and delve into their "cartoon" cravings. They are frivilous in nature, but they can be a relief from the everyday world.
Not all animes are good. Not all animes are bad. But there is one truth that holds to all anime: no two animes are alike. Each one has its own properties that make it great and horrible at the same time. That is the one thing that differs from person to person. "To each their own" as the cliche states. But, my ramblings have progessed enough. It is time you discover the snime that suites you best. One that will uplift you or possibly do the opposite. Whatever you are looking for, it is out there. The anime is waiting... |
