First and foremost Vastu Sastra is not a religious belief but a science. The philosophy and concept of Vaastu Sastra has more to do with complex mathematical calculations along with the energy lines of the earth.Faith is not a prerequisite to success. Instead effective creation of energy and positive vibration, flow of balance and harmony are required.

          Vastu Shastra is a science based on cosmology.Particularly it deals with five elements called Pancha Poothas namely Earth,Water,Fire,Air and Sky.Our body is also constituted withthese five elements.If these five elements in our body are balanced, then the body is hale and healthy.If unbalance is caused the body suffers.

          Similarly the cosmic energy which we get from the Sky(Space),Air,Fire,Water and Earth is balanced in and around the house,then the persons living in the house are more comfortable,cheerful and healthy.Hence it is very much essential to construct the house following Vastu Principles.
