To whom it concerns:

Cars are potential death traps even on mild days and especially during the hot summer months! A dog's normal temperature is 101....higher than ours. Inside temperatures in a parked car can quickly climb to more than 120° F on a "MILD" sunny day ( 65-70° F ). It’s best to leave your pet at home while running errands during warm weather. If you absolutely must leave your pet in a car, please do the following:

  1. Leave all windows down as far as safe for your pet
  2. Bring water with you!!!
  3. CHECK ON YOUR PET "EVERY 10 MINUTES!!!"
better still, please leave your pet at home if you know you will be leaving your car!

If you find this and your dog is gone...I have called the Humane Society
