PROPER PRONUNCIATION
Or at least, the most common

Altar: pronuounced "all-tar", spelled, Altar, not a-l-t-e-r. Alter is to alter something. You alter an animal, alter a dress. Even tough they are actually to be pronounced a bit different, it is pretty standard to just pronounce them the same. (whitch is fine by me cause thats how I say it)

Bast: The Kemetic word "bas-" and feminine ending "-t". Using phonetic shorthand, "bas-" is spelled "b3s-", with the "3" standing for an "ah" sound. The result in English is "B3st", spelled like "last", but sounds like "lost" or, "lahst". Pronounced something like "bhos-st" "bos-st" ryhmes with "cost" or "lost"

Chakras:pronounced "shock-ra, s"

Cowan: pronounced "cow-an"

Deosil: pronounced "dee-oh-sil"

Netjer: Phonetically, spelled "ntr". "t" stands for a "tj" sound, thus the spelling "Netjer" (and the mispronounced "neter").Is pronounced more like "net-jer". It means, "Devine power"

SABBATS:

Samhain: standard Irish pronunciation-"sow-in" with the "ow" as in "cow." Other pronunciations include "sow-een", "sowin" with the "ow" in in "glow", "Samhuin" or "Samhuinn." this word is pronounced "samhane".

Yule: pronounced as it looks, "yool" or "yewl."

Imbolg/Imbolc: This is pronounced-"IM-bullug" or "IM-bulk" with a guttural "k" on the end. Can also be called: Candlemas; Brighid; pronounced "breed", and Oimelc pronounced EE-mulk.

Ostara: Pronounced-"o-STAHR-uh." Also called "Eostre" pronounced "OHS-truh" or "EST-truh".

Beltane/Bealtaine: Pronounced-"bee-YAWL-tinnuh" or "BELL-tinnuh." Can just be pronounced-"BELL-tane"

Litha: Can be pronounced just as it looks or as"leetha" the "th" sounding more as a "t."

Lughnasadh/Lunasa or Lammas: Pronounced-"LOO-nah-sah." Lammas is just like it looks-"LAH-mus."
