THE MOON

    The Moon is about THE most important aspect in all of Paganism. The phases of the Moon are crucial to anyone's spell working.

    Waxing Moon

    The perfect time for fertility magick or for the magick to protect the beginning of a love affair, to increase health and well-being, to set off on a new avenue of the spirit. It is also a good time to plant magick herbs and to begin spells which have a longer time span to be completed. Any positive magick is done at this time.

    Waning Moon

    This is a time for undoing, for receding, for eliminating and separating. If you wish a peaceful ending to a love affair or a business partnership this is the moment to operate on it. It is the time to let go of past experiences or of an undesired part of yourself. The waning Moon is also the best time to cut herbs and flowers.

    Full Moon

    This is the high tide of psychic power. When a specially important or difficult task is at hand use the great power of the full Moon. When in doubt or if you don't have time to wait for the waxing or waning Moon, anything can be achieved during the Full Moon. The "all-purpose" Moon I guess you could say.

    Note: It is not wise to work magick when the moon is "Void Of Course", the odds are against you at that time.

    Zodiac/Moon Sign Correspondences
