·         ERP, Oracle Financials Live Implementation. Oracle Financials GUI version 11.0.3 implementation for Chemical Port Terminal and Post-implementation support. Gujarat Chemical Port Terminal Company Limited (GCPTCL), a sophisticated port for the import as well as export of liquid chemicals. GCPTCL is a joint venture between IPCL, GNFC, GSFC, GMB, GIDC & GIIC, with IPCL having a major stake of 30 % in the company. GCPTCL handles port & terminal operations of liquid chemicals i.e. it provides berthing, loading  & unloading of cargo & warehousing facilities for its customers The investment in the project is to the tune of Rs. 7500 million. GCPTCL will primarily provide port & terminal facilities for its promoter customers & also cater to other customers. The operations are based at Dahej, (50 Km from Bharuch). Since the company is newly incorporated hence business process engineering was involved

·         This project involved eight modules of Oracle Applications that are integrated with custom developed HRMS product, Terminal Automation System and Maximo Asset Maintenance product. Oracle Applications Implementation methodology adopted for GCPTCL, First-Cut Training, As-Is Analysis, To-Be Flows(Mapping requirements on to Oracle Apps modules), Detailed Training, Solution Pilot/Conference Room Pilot(CRP), Detailed Testing and Acceptance of CRP, Production-Setup, Production-Setup Acceptance, Conversion Strategy for Capturing Opening Balances ,Go-Live, Hand-Over. Integration of Oracle Financials with Maximo Asset Maintenance involves interfacing between Oracle Purchasing, Account Payables, Oracle Inventory and General Ledger modules. Interfacing is done using built-in APIs and custom modifications to stored procedures, triggers, creation of database links, etc.

·         Role: As a Team Leader of 10 his responsibilities included, Customizing the implementation of Oracle Purchasing, Payables General Ledger and Maximo Asset Maintenance modules adopting Oracle Application Implementation Methodology.
