Monthly meeting and Lings' meeting at the residence of Ym. Philip Jacob Kompithara and Ymt. Gracy Philip

The meeting started at 7.45 pm with the Club President Ym. Dr. Abraham K Joshua in the Chair and Ylg. Tracy Benson as the master of ceremony. After invocations and a short welcome by the President, the Secretary Ym. Thomas Job presented his report for the month. The meeting was then handed over to the lings.

The Y's Lings continued the meeting with Ylg. Abin Alexander presiding. In his presidential note, Abin thanked the parents for being active members of the club, which in turn provided the lings the opportunity to develop through various activities and networking. Ylg. Annie Kurien, the Secretary of the Y's Lings' Club presented the report. Ylg. Lisa Thomas, read out the list of birthdays and wedding days falling since the earlier meeting. Ym. Dr. Abraham Joshua did the honours.

The cultural programmes of the evening started with a song by Ylg. Ganga, followed by songs by Ylgs. Tanya, Jacob, Annie, Meril and Tracy.

The lings did not fail to ensure the participation of elders in their programme. They had planned a game - a one-minute speech in Malayalam without a word in English - in which Ym. Prof. CD Ayyappan PIllai, Ymt. Dr. Geetha Abraham, Ym. Thomas Job and Ym. Alexander G successfully participated.

A skit by Ylgs. Job Thomas, Cyriac Thomas, Abin Alex, Jacob Thomas, Anney and Tracy saw the audience breaking into laughter. The meeting concluded with National Anthem and was followed by dinner.
