The South West India Regional Director Ym. VAA Shukur visited the Club at the monthly meeting held at the residence of Ym. Dr. Abraham K Joshua. He was accompanied by the Regional Secretary. The District II DG Elect Ym. KD Chacko also attended and offered his felicitations.

The Ys leaders emphasised the need for community services and congratulated the club for its activities. They underlined the need for increasing membership from the present 17 families.

The club report was presented, for the first time, with the aid of visuals including photographs. A large screen TV available with Dr. Joshua came in very handy.

The Regional Director released the club bulletin by presenting a copy to the senior club member Ym. PWAF George Varghese.

The RD also handed over the club's contribution of Rs. 5000 for cancer patients' welfare. The cheque was received by Ms. Santha Balakrishnan, Treasurer of Asraya, a volunteer organisation functioning at the Regional Cancer Centre, Trivandrum. Ms. Jessy Jacob, Secretary of Asraya gave a brief outline of their activities.

Representing the Queens Club, Yw. Jessy Harilal and Yw. Anitha Mohan joined the members for the evening.

Cultural programmes by Ys lings and menettes added to the enjoyment of the evening.
