The office bearers for 2005-06 were installed by the SWIR Zone 1 LRD Ym Prof Cherian Thomas on 24 Jul 2005 at the residence of Ym. George Varghese (Thampi).

Among the Y's leaders present were, DG Ym. Er. Gopakumar and Zonal Secretary Ym. TS Varghese. Representing sister clubs, Ym. Prashanth Frederick of Kowdiar Club, Ym. Thomas Mathew and Ymt. Prof Rebecca Thomas of Trivandrum North Club and Ym. Vasudevan Nair of Highness participated.

The meeting started at 7.30 pm with the adorning of the President's Collar by Ylg. Ganga S Nair. The secretary Ym. Thomas Job presented his report of the activities for the past year. This was followed by the presidential address by the outgoing President Ym. Dr. Abraham Joshua. Ymt. Lekha Satheesh introduced the new office bearers.

Ym. Prof. Cherian Thomas, LRD, installed the new team headed by Ym. Thomas Job. The new President, in his acceptance speech, thanked all members for their confidence in him and requested their continued support.

Ym. George Varghese, the new Secretary proposed the vote of thanks. Cultural programmes and dinner followed.
