Hi, this is a page where I put several awe striking articles which I consider if read, can really act like an "Eye Opener". I will keep updating this page with more such articles as and when I come across them. The articles are arranged sequentially, with the most recent on the top, in that order. Sundry Facets of Life 
Life is a potpourri. It's not like a glass of water which one can imbibe at one go. Have you ever relished a mixed fruit juice? If you have, then know this, that life is like a mixed fruit juice. The only difference is that while the juice is so well prepared that you get the benefit of tasting all fruit flavors at a stretch, life is a juice which has layers. Layers of different fruit juices stacked together, which cannot mingle into a homogeneous mixture. These are some of the juices which I think comprise the mixed fruit juice called Life.
Innocence is a juice which one drinks during childhood. We live in an utopian dream that everyone exists only to fulfil our needs, whims and fancies.
Okay, so childhood is gone. We grow up a little. Then we get the opportunity to drink the next juice, Disillusionment. We find out that life is not perfect and things are inherently flawed. The child grows up and faces the reality that he is not the centre of the universe and for the most part the universe doesn't know he exists or is indifferent to his existence.
The comes the next juice, which is Responsibility. We start taking responsibility for our life. No more will others look after us. Nobody is looking out for me and I must look out for myself says a person who tastes this juice.
Keeperhood is a juice which further propels a person's wisdom. Instead of wanting others to share his pain, he wishes to relieve the pain of others. These are the noble people, the Mahatma Gandhis or Abraham Lincolns. Who fight to serve the world they came to and leave it a better place for their service.
This last juice which not many get to relish, is the most savory. Englightenment, is a juice which extends far beyond the others. When love becomes universal, when there is complete identification, people are no more my brothers. They are me. I and they are one. My self is the Self in all.
It is the culmination of spiritual growth, the state of a Krishna or Rama, a Buddha or Christ, a Mahavir or Mohammed.

A Denotation to Colors
Have you ever noticed why a color is so and so? Why does blue look "blue" and not red or green? What makes it look blue? I know that all of you will come out with excellent scientific expositions, but there is something more. Colors mean a lot, and this is what this article serves to expound.
The phenomenon of colors illustrates a distinctive law of life. Light is constituted of seven colors. When an object is bathed in light the seven colors impinge upon it. An object appears blue when it actually gives away blue and takes in the other six. It appears in the color it parts with. An object gains the color it gives away!
You gain what you give away, what you sacrifice. Not what you take. The way to gain anything is to lose it. The more you run after wealth, the more it ebbs. You crave for it, and it eludes you. Leave it alone, and it follows you. Work earnestly, dispassionately; the reward of work shall court you. Develop the spirit of dispassion, renunciation in life. You turn pure, divine.

Tryst with Nature's Laws
There was a farmer named Fleming in Scotland. One day he heard a call for help. He saw a boy sinking in the quicksand. Fleming pulled the boy out of the quicksand; he affectionately patted him and told him to go home. Then, he returned to his farming job again.
Next day, a well-dressed gentleman arrived at his shanty. "You saved the life of my son; I wish to present you with an accolade," he said. But Fleming said that he had only done his duty. Spotting a ragamuffin, the gentleman asked Fleming if that were his son. Fleming acquiesced. And the gentleman vouched for the boy's education.
Years later the farmer's son became a scientist, Alexander Fleming. He became renowned for his invention of Penicillin. A few months after the invention, the boy who his father saved got a severe attack of pneumonia. And his life was saved, this time by Fleming Jr's invention.

Divine Presence
How many of you challenge the existence of GOD? Does GOD exist? I know every reader would have an entirely different opinion about this issue. But this is something which needs to be explored once and for all. This may not strike to you, but those who believe in GOD and those who don't believe (which is obviously a smaller bunch) are equally foolish (not because one party believes and the other doesn't). The believers must understand that all their GODs who existed in human forms earlier have met their end over time. A dead GOD is not likely to revisit now and save them from their troubles. Even the old scriptures won't be of much help in the current circumstances. As for non-believers, needlessly to say, through their denial, they only keep GOD alive.
Instead of debating whether GOD exists or not, it's time man met the dormant GOD within. He can aspire to achieve this only when he stops searching for an out-of-the-world saviour. He should understand that a saviour is similar to a big banyan tree. No rosebush can grow under its expansive GODhood, it's time he threw his GODs into fire.
Jesus, Krishna, Mohammed and Buddha went against conventions. They're the ones who dared to move out of the banyan tree's shadow to find their own existence. Now, it's for you to decide. Do you want to believe in an outside GOD or in the GOD that you already are? It's also up to you to decide whether to follow a farcical religion or wake up to the religion of your consciousness.

Maths Metaphysics
What equals 100 percent? What does it mean to give MORE than 100 percent? Even wonder about those people who say that they are giving more than 100 percent? We have all been in situations where someone wants you to GIVE OVER 100 percent. How about ACHIEVING 101 percent? What equals 100 percent in life? Here's a little mathematical formula that might help answer these questions:

If H-A-R-D-W-O-R-K 8+1+18+4+23+15+18+11 = 98 percent.
And K-N-O-W-L-E-D-G-E 11+14+15+23+12+5+4+7+5 = 96 percent.
But A-T-T-I-T-U-D-E 1+20+20+9+20+21+4+5 = 100 percent.
Then, look how far the Love of God will take you:
L-O-V-E-O-F-G-O-D 12+15+22+5+15+6+7+15+4 = 101 percent.
Therefore, one can conclude with mathematical certainty that: While Hard Work and Knowledge will get you close, and Attitude will get you there, it's the Love of God that will put you over the top!
