Jack Gilespie Lockhart married Helen Louise Webster on Sept. 1, 1948 in Greenup Co., Ky.

Mom was 17 years old and dad was almost 21 when they married.

Mom always said that dad was never a free man because he married before he was 21.

My father died in 1971 at the very young age of 43. He was a great man well respected in our town. He was the South Shore Vol. Fire Chief for many years and help build the fire house that is still in use today.
