The child setting on the fence was Wallace Lockhart.He was the  oldest son of Lillian Stump Lockhart. The young man holding him up there was John Stump.

John Tyler Stump was the 11th child of William and Mary Stump. He was born on Jan. 16, 1913.

This is Little John ( as he was called by his brothers and sisters ) and his sister Dana Stump Cain. The two little girls are Dana's grandchildren. They are named Peggy and Joyce.

I don't know to much about John Tyler.   He died at the age of 36.  It is said that he rolled over into a camp fire at a hobo camp and burned to death.   Mamaw said that he was in Salmon, Idaho.   He died in Nov. 1949.
