Hello and welcome to my Daily Bible Text Website. My name is Cheryl Thorne and I live with my husband in Fields Landing, California. As Jehovah's Witnesses, we belong to the Eureka-West Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses. We believe that the entire Bible is the inspired Word of God, and instead of adhering to a creed based on human tradition, we hold to the Bible as the standard for all of our beliefs. We worship Jehovah as the only true God and freely speak to others about Him and his loving purposes toward mankind. It is also our belief that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, the first of God's creations and that his perfect human life laid down in sacrifice makes possible salvation to eternal life here on earth for those who exercise faith in him; and that Christ is actively ruling as King, with God-given authority over all the earth since 1914.

It is with strong conviction that God's Kingdom is the only hope for all mankind, which will soon destroy the present wicked system of things along with Satan and his followers, and in turn, this new Governmental arrangement will produce a new world society in which righteousness will prevail. Therefore, it is important to apply the counsel of God's Word in everyday life now and to help us to do this, I invite YOU, along with my husband and I, to make it a daily routine in your life to "Read the Bible Daily". To help you do that, I originally created this Website by printing out a daily text from the Bible thru the use of the "Examinging the Scriptures Daily-2001" published by the Watchtower Bible and Tract Society of New York.
