Chapter 11
Damnit what was wrong with her!? How could she say those things, and to him! She slumped forward, burying her face in her hands. What next? Just then the phone rang and she picked it up, keeping her head down.
"Keyana Johnson."
"Baby?"
Her head shot up. "Shane! Hey honey."
"Hi! Everything ok? You sound upset."
"Yeah everything's fine. I just got done with an appointment."
"How'd it go? Was it successful?"
"Mmm...you could say that. Anyway, what's up?"
"I'm calling cause mom wants us to go over there for dinner this evening. You wanna go?"
"Sure! I miss your mom." Keyana smiled, this was exactly what she needed right now.
"Ok good. So I'll be by to pick you up at seven-thirty, that enough time?"
"Yup perfect. See you then."
"See ya, love ya."
"Love you too." Keyana hung up the phone smiling, everything was gonna be ok. *******************************************************************
"Ok that's good. You've improved a lot. What happened in the few days since I saw ya man?"
"God AJ it's amazing. I can't even begin to tell ya. I think I'm starting to get to her. In the meeting today, she told me to get off." Nick grinned.
AJ's eyebrows rose. "Get off?"
"Yeah, I think she meant that the plans would take off and instead she said they'd get me off. Funny as hell, well then again I did mention a slip of the tongue." Nick smirked.
"Damn! I need to come to one of these meetings." AJ laughed.
Nick laughed. "It's not like that always. She's usually really proper, today tho was different. She seemed...flustered and shit. I dunno."
"Flustered huh, like how? What was she doing?"
"Well she was stuttering and she thought she'd lost my folder and it was in her tray. She looked ready to jump out her skin or somethin'."
AJ smiled. "Wow, you work fast man."
Nick chuckled. "I wanna do this slowly, I need to be more mysterious."
"I hope you know what you're getting yourself into."
"I do, nothing's gonna go wrong. It's not like I kissed her or anything."
"Uh-huh, just be careful." AJ announced.
Nick nodded. "I am careful, nothing's gonna happen. Not yet anyway."
AJ looked at him.

Hey,
God what a meeting! She looked beautiful today, i couldn't stop thinkin about her....about touching her.
I cant wait to have her call me i'm dying to hear her voice...to see her.
I don't know whats gonna happen, i keep telling AJ that everything will be fine but i'm not so sure...
i don't know if i don't want anything to happen...does that make sense?
Oh what does it matter, i'm sure nothing will happen.
At least I can make her feel good or i hope i make her feel good.
