Chapter 44
"So why are we all here Nick?" Kevin asked.
"She knows."
They all stared at him.
"She knows?" Brian asked.
"She knows that I knew about her and Shane and everything. She knows."
"How'd she find out?" Howie asked.
"I-it slipped last night when she was over."
"OOOOOOOO!" They all moaned.
"Nick! What were you thinking!? She's not supposed to find out from you!" AJ groaned.
"It slipped! I felt bad cause she was saying how bad she felt and that maybe she really didn't love Shane if she cheated on him. Made it seem like all her fault. I felt bad."
"Well at least she knows now. It was bound to happen." Kevin pointed out.
"So what'd she say?" Brian questioned.
"She was pissed to say the least. She hates me, won't return my phone calls and she dropped my account. Gave it to some guy. Shit I'm screwed!"
"Yeah, you are." AJ smiled.
Nick shot him a look.
"Come on Nick, you knew you were playing with fire. I kept telling you that and now that she knows, things are gonna get worse." AJ frowned.
"What do I do? I need her, I never meant for this to happen." Nick whispered, looking down.
"You have to find some way to talk to her." Kevin announced.
"How? She won't take my calls. I can't go see her at her office anymore, I don't have a reason to."
"Oh?" Howie questioned.
"I told you she dropped my account."
"So you make her get it back." Howie reasoned.
"Huh? How?"
"You don't give her a choice Nick." Howie explained.
Everyone turned to look at him.
"What are you thinking Howie?" Brian asked.
Howie grinned.

She shouldn't do it, she knew she shouldn't. It was wrong, and she had no right. But she needed this. She needed to do it. She dialed the number quickly and waited.
"Hello?"
"Hi."
Silence. She cleared her throat and started again. "How are you?"
"I'm fine, how are you?"
"I've been better. Look I wanted to ask you something. Can you come by tonight, there's something I wanted to talk to you about?"
"I don't know."
"Please?"
There was another silence, then she heard him sigh.
"Alright. I'll be there in a few minutes." He hung up the phone.
Keyana hung up and looked out the window. She didn't like what she was about to do, but there was no other way. No other way to stop the pain, but she'd try hard to forget.
