Storm Clouds Copyright 2001 She sat on the couch, listening to the rumbling of the thunder outside. She was so tired of being alone. It seemed like everyone else had someone, someone to hold them on nights like this. The glow from the tv shone brightly in the room. She sighed, resting her head back on the couch. Janelle was always on the outside looking in. Left with only her thoughts and dreams. Her friends teased her about being so shy and said that she needed to go out and date more. Her friends, far more popular than she, were always doing things and socializing. Janelle just hung around them to have something to do. Guys never seemed to be interested in her, but with her two close friends Kerry and Denise. There were a few guys that Kerry and Denise hung out with a lot, one guy named Nick and this other guy Brian. They were in this group called the Backstreet...something. Janelle could never remember. She hated to admit it, but she'd always had a thing for Nick. There was something about those blue eyes that just made her get this warm feeling in her stomach. Nick wasn't like most guys in the fact that he actually talked to her, as did Brian of course, but Nick was different. He smiled at her and seemed to listen when she talked, which wasn't very often. Janelle found herself coming home and writing her most intimate dreams and fantasies about him in her journal. Dreams and fantasies that would never be. Janelle sighed again just as there was another brilliant flash of light followed by a roar of thunder. She had just enough time to turn her head, before the lights flickered and went out. Quickly cast into darkness, Janelle made her way blindly into the kitchen to find some candles. After finding a few, lighting and strategically placing them, she started back to the couch when there was a knock at the door. Wondering who it could be, she made her way over to the door and opened it. "Sorry...got caught out there...can I come in?" Janelle stared at him and quickly stepped aside as he made his way in. The whole atmosphere of the room changed. He seemed to fill the room. This wasn't really happening, it couldn't be happening. She blinked a few times, and yet he didn't disappear. She stared at the young man who was now desperately trying to dry himself off and could feel her pulse starting to race. She didn't notice that he was now looking at her. "Umm...I don't mean to be pushy or anything but...can I have a towel or something to dry off with?" Janelle's eyes widened, and she could feel her face burning from being caught in the act of staring. She turned on her heel and stormed up to the bathroom and grabbed a few towels. Taking his coat from him, she handed him the towels and tossed the coat on the table. "Thanks." She nodded. "I guess you're probably wondering why I'm here." She said nothing, but continued to stare at him. "Yeah...well I went next door to see if Kerry was home and she wasn't and then the weather just got so bad, I remembered that you lived here and I'd seen the light on and thought I'd come by. I hope you don't mind." He stared at her, his blue eyes questioning. She swallowed and shook her head. "Look if you'd rather me go I can just..." "No, no, it's fine really Nick. Not a problem." She whispered, and slowly made her way over to the couch. She felt Nick come up behind her and then sit down next to her, the thunder rumbling in the distance. "Ya know, I think that's the first time I've ever heard you talk directly to me." She smiled shyly at him and looked down. Nick looked around, obviously uncomfortable. "Some storm huh?" Janelle nodded again, casting a quick glance in his direction before looking away again. "Ok, maybe I should leave. I'm obviously making you uncomfortable." "No Nick...I just...I'm sorry. It's not you really...." She trailed off. "No need to be shy around me, I don't bite ya know." Janelle smiled and looked at him, mistake. Her eyes immediately drifted to his full lips. She couldn't tear her eyes away. "Janelle..." She watched them move, wishing they were moving over her...over her body, softly... gently. "Janelle..." She could just imangine...warm lips on her skin, gently sucking on her... "Jenelle..." Her gaze darted to his eyes. A soft smile on his lips, his head cocked to the side. "You seemed deep in thought just then...what were you thinking about?" He whispered. "Uhh...uhh...nothing..." She stammered. "Nothing huh?" "Y-yeah...just...nothing." Nick nodded his head slowly. "I'm gonna...start a fire. It's getting kinda cool in here." She was lying, she was burning up. She went over and put some logs in struck a match and tossed it in. A few minutes later the fire had taken off. Soon the room was filled with heat. She stood and turned, crying out. Nick grabbed her by the arms to still her. "Sorry...didn't mean to startle you. I thought we should go down and see if we can maybe get the lights back on." There was another loud clap, followed by another flash of light. "O-oh...ok, yeah that sounds good." She was painfully aware of his hands on her, the warmth from them seeping into her skin, sensitizing it. Suddenly they were gone, and he was off, candle in hand down the stairs. Shaking herself, quickly she followed him. A few minutes later, they made their way back up. "Didn't think it was gonna do much good, but it was worth a shot don't ya think?" "Yeah." They came to stand in middle of the living room. Janelle tried, she tried hard to not look at him, at his eyes, but she couldn't help it. She looked up to see him staring at her. She rubbed her hands on her pants, suddenly they were cold. "I make you nervous don't I?" She wasn't going to answer that. Her eyes widened as she watched him place the candle he was holding on the table and walk towards her, his eyes never leaving hers. She took a step back and he stopped, still looking at her. He reached out and took her candel , placing it next to his. "Janelle..." He whispered. Her legs were wobbling, the way he was looking at her. Like he could see into her soul. She was so disoriented, she didn't notice his hand reach out and grab her around the waist. She cried out again, only this time to find herself slowly pulled up against him. She gasped at the feeling of his hard body pressed so close to hers. There was another flash, and she could see his eyes, something burning within them. "I 've tried to figure you out Janelle...but I can't. You're a lot like me, you hide a lot. So much to learn about you...so much to discover. I wanna try..." He murmured, placing a finger below her chin, lifting it so she was looking into his eyes. The candlelight casting an eerie glow around them. "Let me try..." He whispered a second before his lips covered hers gently. In the thundering rain You stare into my eyes The feelings coursing through her, his hands cupping her face gently. Slowly they moved, sliding down her slender body, past her waist and up her thighs, rubbing them gently. She couldn't help the small moan that escaped her. I can feel your hands Moving up my thighs Skirt around my waist Wall against my face I can feel your lips His hands made their way up her stomach and under her shirt, caressing her skin. She clung to him, as his mouth devoured hers. His tongue plunging into her mouth, tangling with hers. She felt him pull away just long enough for him to bring her arms up, sliding her shirt above her head and throwing it to the floor. Seconds later, his lips were on hers again. I don't wanna stop just because People walkin' by are watchin' us I don't give a damn what they think I want you now I don't wanna stop just because You feel so good inside of my love I'm not gonna stop no, no, no I want you, all I wanna say is... She wanted to touch him, feel him. She'd been dreaming of it for so long, that she wanted her chance. "Touch me..." She heard him groan, and she did. Sliding her hands down his chest and under his shirt. She felt his muscles tighten, so warm, so hard. She yanked the shirt up and he raised his arms and flung it off. She ran her hands lightly over him, startled when she felt him shaking. Daringly she leaned forward and ran her tongue over his chest, rubbing at his shoulders. "Janelle..." Slowly her hand traveled lower, to his pants. She flicked at the button, and lowered the zipper. Janelle didn't have any idea where this was coming from. She'd never been with a guy, but it was all so natural with him. Anytime, and anyplace I don't care who's around Anytime, and anyplace I don't care who's around She ran her hand up his stomach and then back down...trailing it inside the waistband of his boxers. She heard Nick moan, his hands rubbing her arms. She moved her hand inside slowly, rubbing him. "Shit...shit..." Nick moaned, his breathing labored. She started stroking him gently, moving her fingers down to the tip, squeezing gently. "Janelle...damnit!" Her hand starting a steady motion against him, she could feel him becoming aroused. "Oh...god...please...Janelle..."He whispered. She felt him tighten and soon the trembling of his body ceased and she withdrew her hand slowly. Her heart pounding and her body aching. Suddenly she felt herself being lowered to the carpet below. "My turn..." She heard him whisper in her ear. Dancin' on the floor Feelin' the slow groove My mind is starting to burn With forbidden thoughts Strangers all around With the lights down low... She sighed shakily as she felt Nick lower himself on her, reaching in back of her to unsnap her bra and slide it down her arms. She couldn't stop shaking. And then she felt it, what she'd been dreaming of...his lips on her skin. He moved slowly down her chest, leaving a trail with his tongue. She bit her lip to keep from calling out, her hands tangling in his hair. She wanted him so bad. No thoughts in her head as she felt him undo the button on her pants, whipping them off along with her underwear. He rubbed her thighs, slowly running his hands up higher and higher. She couldn't breathe and when he took her with his fingers, her hips bucked gently. "Nick..." "How does it feel?" She couldn't speak, her head thrashing violently from side to side. "Janelle...tell me." "Oh...fuck...fuck..." "Still nothing...well...I'll just try something else..." Through heavy lidded eyes, she saw him lower his head and a few seconds later, his name escaped her lips again. "Nick...god...Nick..." She felt his tongue, it was doing crazy things. Her body was tight, and aching. "How...how does it feel?...Janelle...please..." "It feels like...like...ohh...like heaven...Nick...I need you...I need you inside...now..." His lips covered hers again, as he rested between her legs. I was thinkin' maybe we could Well...you know... I don't wanna stop just because People walkin' by are watchin' us I don't give a damn what they think I want you now I don't wanna stop just because You feel so good inside of my love I'm not gonna stop no, no, no I want you, all I wanna say is... Anytime, and anyplace I don't care who's around Anytime, and anyplace I don't care who's around Janelle clung to him as he took her over the edge with each slow movement of his body, and finally when they could stand it no longer, they both fell into the bottomless oblivion that was passion. ************************************************************ Janelle moved slowly, and covered her eyes. The sun blinding her, she sat up. A blanket lay across her along with a single rose next to her head. She found a note and read it quickly. Janelle- To mysteries and discovering the soul. I want to learn more. Love, Nick Janelle held the note to her heart. Did he mean what she thought he meant? No, it wouldn't happen, guys like him didn't go for girls like her. She sighed and sat up, gathering her clothes and headed up to take a shower. ******************************************************* "Can you believe that storm last night! Wow, I can't believe we lost power. How'd you do Janelle?" Denise asked. Janelle shrugged. "Oh hey! Here comes Brian and Nick!" Kerry cried. Brian and Nick came up. "Hey ladies." Brian smiled. Kerry and Denise said hi. Janelle couldn't bring herself to look at him, to see the amusement she was sure that was on his face. "Ya know Janelle, you should get to know Brian and Nick better, they're really great guys." Denise announced. Janelle could feel her face burning up. "Did you hear that Janelle? We should get to know each other better." Brian smiled. She nodded, her head down. She felt someone come up next to her, and the next thing she knew, her head was being lifted and she was staring up into Nick's eyes. He smiled and lowered his lips to hers. "I'm just beginning to get to know you. I'm dying to learn more." He grinned. Janelle's eyes widened as Nick pulled her into his arms and hugged her close to him. "Thank you for last night. I must say, I look forward to experiencing that again." "Y-you...do?" "How else am I supposed to learn about my girl?" "Y-your girl?" "You are my girl right?" Janelle opened her mouth to speak, but no words came out. "Ya didn't think I was just gonna let you get away did you?" She bit her lip as he leaned forward to kiss her gently. "You're mine baby." She smiled as he brought his lips to hers once more, as Denise, Kerry and Brian looked on in confusion. Anytime, Anyplace-By Janet Jackson |
